OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Chemical abortions drugs should only be used to protect the life of the mother, and not in any elective abortion.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

None. Only in the case where the life of the mother is at risk.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

I support a nationwide ban on abortion.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It should mean that the State should have no ability to interfere with our freedom to worship God as we feel called to worship. That's not how the government sees it, and I am working to change that.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals and businesses should never be compelled to do something that is against their moral or religious beliefs.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C)

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Yes. Israel has been a reliable source of intelligence to keep us safe from terrorist attacks. Israel is also a proving ground for defense technology that makes the United States military a stronger defense force.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

A decline in respect for the military, woke ideologies in our schools, and a lack of strategic vision among the top brass have led to a decline in military recruitment. The military's inability to market itself to Freedom-loving Christian conservatives has certainly made recruiting harder.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Government should not interfere with private business. Therefore, businesses should be allowed to require what they choose, but the government should never compel businesses to require vaccinations for their employees. Schools shouldn't require vax.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

D). Government funded insurance has been shown to have the worst healthcare outcomes, including when compared to individuals with no health insurance prior to Obamacare. States have the 10th Amendment right to provide healthcare to their citizens, but there is no Constitutional authority for the Federal government to administer health insurance programs.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

Reduce Federal income tax and cut Federal spending. Eliminate the death tax, and allow families to access inheritance without taxing it. I will also stand against any wealth tax or taxes on unrealized gains.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Strongly Agree

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Build the wall, reinstate the remain in Mexico policy, and end catch and release.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Direct family members of US citizens (spouses or children) should be able to immigrate through the legal pathways. If the United States foresees a long-term skills gap in a particular industry, a limited number of work visas should be issued to help fil the gap, while focusing on training US Citizens for those jobs.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

As a homeschool graduate and an educator, I support tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home school options. I am unimpressed with the voucher programs that have been proposed in Texas and around the country, because of all of the strings attached. Tax deductions would be a better pathway to school choice without strings attached.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. Owning a weapon is a constitutional right.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Disagree

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The general purpose of government is to protect our rights, and to adjudicate when multiple parties' right come into conflict with another.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I am a nondenominational Christian, and make it a priority to pray with my wife before making big decisions. I believe that God has called me to serve my brothers and sisters in Christ through my private work and now by running for office. I believe that He has called all of us to be our brothers' keeper, and not abdicate that responsibility in favor of government control.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

The intent of the Federal Government is to serve the interest of the States in the specific areas outline in the US Constitution. Therefore, the election of the President as chief executive should be determined by the will of the States.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Fossil fuels have proven to be the most reliable source of energy. Renewable energy sources are not reliable enough for anything other than supplemental energy consumption.
