Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Deliris is pro-life with very few exceptions. Our youth must be educated on the many risks associated with an abortion and focus primarily on prevention. This issue cannot be treated as taboo anylonger. Education must start at home.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Every female deserves the chance to be a mother if that is their choice. Risks must be discussed during the entire process.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Extreme circumstances and on a case by case basis.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Our taxpayers should not be responsible for the cost of those procedures. Every individual should be responsible for their actions.
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

1. Conduct quarterly audits within our federal government. Focus on transparency, accountability, and constant oversight on Medicaid, Medicare, Snap Benefits, and any federal authorized allocated funds. 2. No more adding bills to the National Defense Authorization Act. Each bill must be a stand alone bill. 3. Strengthen the Whistleblower Protection Act within our Federal Government. 4. Credit card astronomical interest fees. Discrepancy on gasoline/diesel prices across our own communities.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Our government should not impose any religion on any individual, or choose one religion over another. Our citizens should be able to practice their faith freely while the government protects individual's rights.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. We, as individuals, have the wisdom to choose our own spiritual beliefs and values. Those are taught since we have the capability to comprehend them and they can be changed if we choose to as adults. Deliris is a believer and a child of God, raised in the Catholic Church, but is able to respect anyone's spiritual beliefs and values and will never impose her own on anyone. DMB is a Soldier for Life and the Army Values are still standing: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless-Service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

We need an ID to book any form of transportation, receive any medical attention, or request an official document. Why should we treat voter ID any differently? That is how we start addressing voter fraud.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Deliris supports the 2nd Amendment. Weapons do not kill; hands do. For a crime to be committed, there are certain elements that must exist. "Weapons" are only one of the elements. Education starts at home, and our youth learn from their adult parents.
