Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
None. Procedures necessary to save the life of the mother should be permissible, but they should not be considered "elective abortions."
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Chemical abortion drugs should be illegal, but if they are legal, they should meet these standards, at the minimum. They should absolutely not be made available through the mail.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

What is your position on the minimum wage?
I did not support the minimum wage amendment to our state constitution, and we have seen the negative impact on filling jobs as a result of the minimum wage. Minimum wages make it harder to fill jobs, which results in higher prices to offset wages.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Compelling safety reasons may justify closing churches, but they must be neutrally applied to all public spaces and buildings. Churches should have been among the first buildings reopened after COVID, and congregations should have been permitted to meet outside or other alternative ways if the buildings had to remain closed.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
I am between B. and C. I do not think healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, but there are government-funded programs, such as Florida's KidCare, and government-funded clinics that should remain available in addition to Medicaid and Medicare. I do not believe Medicaid and Medicare should be expanded, and we should continue to push for market solutions to bring down healthcare costs and make them more affordable in the private market.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Vaccines that are well-researched and proven to protect public health may be required, but there should be religious/conscience/health exemptions available. The COVID vaccine should have never been required.

I am a devout Catholic Christian. I believe our laws should be rooted in the natural law, which is part of the Divine Law, and I believe our government should be ordered towards the common good. I believe the family is central to our society and must be respected and protected, and I believe government should be limited and kept as local as possible, with each level of government supporting lower levels of government (the principle of subsidiarity).

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
In general, no, our country has progressed far beyond the racial biases and legal racial discriminations of our past, and institutional racism does not exist and is not a threat to domestic security. But, Critical Race Theory has fueled riots, such as BLM and Antifa, and these have racist undertones and are threats to domestic security.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
