QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I have a deeply personal story that keeps me firm on my beliefs in no exceptions. However, I have also held firm that in cases where mothers do not want a child or the pregnancy is an outcome of rape or abuse in which the mother chooses not to care for the child because of mental health impacts, we must have dependable support for the mothers in the form of medical care, nutritional care, transportation, etc.. It is not right for us to only state we will not allow abortion, but then leave it to the mother's (who are sometimes victims) to figure things out on their own. We also cannot protect a child through the stage of birth and then look away. We must do more to support mothers and help with dependable placement for children in circumstances that are defined in the exceptions catagories. In my family's personal story which dates back to the 60's, the support was provided by the churches in the parish.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree
