OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

While I don't personally condone abortion, I do believe in a woman's right to choose during the first trimester or after that in the cases of incest, rape, if the health of the mother or child are a concern, or other extenuating circumstances.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Disagree

I think Planned Parenthood should get some funds for healthcare services for low income or indigent women in the communities they serve. Some women do not have any other healthcare options and rely on them. The funds should come with stipulations and should not be used for gender ideology, etc.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I am currently researching the difference between a flat tax rate and a progressive tax rate. I am also looking into the property tax structure in NJ, which is quite burdensome.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would reduce foreign aid to other countries. I believe that we need to take care of Americans before anyone else. I think we should reduce and/or eliminate the size of the IRS and other government bodies such as the US Department of Education. There is too much duplication of agencies and services,

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

College is a choice. Not all students will go on to college and I don't think it is the responsibility of the taxpayer to fund college.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Private businesses have the right to set their own standards. If consumers don't like it, they are able to get their needs met elsewhere.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Government should never close churches. We have a Constitutional right to religion.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Option B (Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options) most closely matches my view on Healthcare because some people don't have private insurance and don't meet the criteria for Medicare or Medicaid and are still in need of healthcare. This should be a short term solution for these people.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

They should never be able to require vaccinations. Vaccinations are a personal choice and I believe in bodily autonomy and medical freedom.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We should secure the US border for starters!

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Neutral

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The southern border should be fully secured. We need to finish building the wall, make sure that we have enough border patrol officers and provide adequate support to border patrol officers. The US government needs to provide consequences to governments of the countries that people are coming from to also help hinder illegal crossings (trade restrictions, etc).

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

People should be vetted to make sure they are not criminals or have a criminal past. They should go through the legal process to become United States citizens. They should be productive members of society that can contribute to the betterment of our country and not rely on government assistance. They should also prove that they have a full understanding of our founding and the importance of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I fully support funding the education of children and not just systems. The system doesn't work for all kids. Competition for vouchers will provide everyone with a quality education. Parents who homeschool should get a tax credit since their children are not using the mainstream education system. They can use that money as they wish, to educate their kids.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Our rights are God given and not based on governmental decisions, which sometimes infringe on this right.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Neutral

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

I don't think United States institutions or people are fundamentally racist. As a matter of fact, proof exists that it isn't. Everyone has an equal opportunity here.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised Catholic and subscribe to Christian values. I believe in God and Jesus Christ as our savior.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Photo ID is necessary for election integrity.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I don't think we need mail in ballots, which have proven to decrease election integrity, as we have seen ballot harvesting and other illegal measures being utilized with these ballots to interfere with election results. I also don't think we need early voting, especially not for multiple days.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I don't think racism in and of itself is an issue. Organizations such as BLM and Antifa, which perpetuate racism and hate, are definitely a threat to domestic security in the United States.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

This whole idea is silly. Modern day people should not be used as pawns to "fix" slavery. We all know slavery was wrong but it is not an American construct. Slavery was used throughout the world, even in African countries. America was a developing country at the time and used slavery as a means of labor during a time when it was still accepted. Thankfully, slavery was abolished, but we can't right a wrong by making people of today pay for what happened in the past.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

I believe that A. stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

I support energy independence and we should use the resources that we have in the United States, specifically oil and natural gas.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The purpose of government is to protect the rights of its citizens.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I feel that I am fairly conservative, however, some things are not always black and white and the human factor needs to be considered in some decision making as well.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I don't have anything right now! I'm just getting started but I have spoken three times publicly so far! Another meet and greet event is being scheduled on May 18, 2023 at Chevy's Fresh Mex in Linden. Come see me there!

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I support parental rights. I think there is a real assault on families and parents in this country right now. Recent changes to the school curriculum sexualizing children and promoting gender ideology as normal, when in fact it isn't, is a HUGE problem. Kids are being groomed for pedophilia and overall confusion. This is wrong and parents should have a say in what their children are taught. CRT is another attempt to indoctrinate our kids and turn them away from family and country and it is not appropriate in our schools. In New Jersey, we are also dealing with the building of wind turbines, which is negatively affecting our whales, dolphins, other sea life, health of our oceans overall, fishing industry (food supply!) and birds as well as the beauty and enjoyment of our oceans. I'm opposed to these wind farms in our oceans.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I believe that the majority of police officers are good and act as appropriately as they can in given situations. There will always be a bad cop here or there, like in ANY profession.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

I DO NOT believe in defunding the police. I do think that mental health is a concern in this country but money should not be taken away from police departments to fund mental health and community programs.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Law abiding citizens have the right to own and bear arms. There should be no restrictions on law abiding citizens.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

The firearms dealers and manufacturers did not harm the victims of gun violence. While this is unfortunate, the perpetrators of the violence are the ones at fault.
