QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I am 100% pro-life.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I do not believe that any abortion providers should receive tax payer funds to fund abortions.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Working to simplify our tax codes and look for ways to lower taxes when the state runs a large surplus.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Government spending should constantly be evaluated to ensure money is not being spent frivolously. We need to ensure that money allocated to state and local projects are spent and administered properly. Finally, we need to allow Virginia business to have the same opportunity to bid on state contacts as large out of state organizations. When possible, Virginia Business should even be given preference if capable of the scope of work.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under no circumstances should the government be allowed to tell religious organizations they must close.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Medicaid and Medicare should remain, however universal health care for all takes the free market out of play. The free market keeps health care costs low through competition. When there is no competition we will all pay astronomical amounts for medical.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Vaccinations should never be a blanket requirement. Unless a particular disease proves extremely deadly and highly transmissible, the decision to protect one’s health should remain with the individual

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Remain vigilant, continually gather intelligence, and prepare our selves and Allie’s on how to remain safe and respond. We need to have a strong military that is always ready to respond, but an intelligence community that is always on offense.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I believe anybody that applies to enter this country legally and takes the proper step to get here should be allowed. I do not believe in the open boarders for example what is going on at the southern.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I believe that money should follow the children and not the school. It is time by to create more competition between institutions to better themselves and the curriculum. I believe that every child is entitled to a world class education, and that it is a constitutional right.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and believes and lives Christian values.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

In our society we must show ID for a large number of transactions. Voting is a right that is reserved for legal registered voters. By requiring photo ID it gives our elections more integrity and also give our society more confidence in the process.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I would propose shrinking early voting time to half what it currently is. Early voting is now part of our laws and is expected by society. It does put more expense and stress on our local registrars office around the state as they must man early voting locations for 45 days currently. There is also an added expense to have poll work sets out longer and polling sites active.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No, I feel like politics drives narratives that look to divide us based on color or origin. We are all humans with much more in common than what divides us.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost jobs and citizens more money. Cleaner energy should be an option but not forced upon citizens.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

I believe that we as a country need to regain energy independence.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To serve and protect its citizens

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Education is one of my number one legislative priorities. I want to make sure the focus of our children's curriculum is prioritizing reading, writing, and arithmetic. I would also like to help out Veterans across the state of Virginia. veterans answered the call to serve their country and we should do everything in our power to support them in our communities. I want to ensure all veterans are getting the assistance they need to perceiver after serving our great country.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I am a firm believer in the 2nd amendment. I don't believe our rights should be infringed. However I think making sure those with mental illness are monitored and those fit to own a gun should be able to.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
