RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None.. Human life begins at conception, and ALL unborn children have a constitutional right to life.. if the life of the mother is in eminent danger, the child can be delivered instead of aborted.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I support eliminating the punitive state income tax, reducing or eliminating the grocery tax, and eliminating residential property taxes for seniors.. Also, as a free market capitalist, I’m not a fan of these local “tourism taxes” that unfairly discriminate against restaurants and hotels.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I would work to eliminate wasteful spending, reduce our state’s bond indebtedness, see that taxpayer dollars go into maintaining critical infrastructure instead of “recreational” projects.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Absolutely none.. never.. to do so is completely unconstitutional
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare? A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare options (includes "universal healthcare," "Medicare for all," etc.); B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options; C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but the government should reform healthcare to maximize private health insurance options; D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
C.. but Medicaid needs to reformed, not expanded. Medicaid is especially plagued with fraud. My core belief is all government assistance should lead to self-sufficiency, not government dependency.

Absolutely none.. Never
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
I don’t think that the threat of Islamic terrorism can be eradicated.. but the United States could definitely do more to deter it.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Only the ones who enter our country legally.. if they’re not willing to go through the legal process, then we don’t need them here.
EDUCATION
The state should prioritize education funding by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of focusing on programs and administrators.

I’m definitely an advocate of School Choice. I do have concerns about our state legislature using a simple “voucher system” as a means to exert control over home educators and private schools. I don’t want our State Board of Education dictating which curriculum homeschoolers have to use or mandating them to conform to nine weeks testing.

I am a conservative activist.. I’ve worked on and promoted legislation for election integrity, medical freedom, legislative term limits, second amendment and the ballot initiative process.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Depending on where you are, “departmental policy” isn’t always conducive with the law.. All individuals (including law enforcement officers) should be required to operate within the confines of the law and subject to prosecution if found to be in violation thereof.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
