What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
I do not believe that McKinney ISD should not have taken the federal funds of ESSER I, II, III. With the $250M budget that MISD has, the ISD didn't need the money and the strings that came with it. The less government funding and oversight the better.

When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?
A parent should first be warned if being unruly and there should be no discrimination of the speaker's viewpoints. And an individual should only be given a trespass order by a judge who has the authority to bar a parent due to unsafe and unlawful actions. However, first Amendment rights absolutely apply to the public having the right to address its government officials

What does "equity in education" mean to you?
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion does not need to be in K-12 public schools. "Equity in education" means taking lower performers and bringing them up and taking higher performers and bringing them down. I do not agree with equity in education since it brings higher performers down.

Do you believe students should have access to materials that graphically depict and describe sexual acts?
No
I do not believe it should be even available if there's an opt-in option because we as taxpayers shouldn't pay for the materials that graphically depict and describe sexual acts. I believe that it shouldn't be on school property at all and nor should it be allowed to be brought onto school property from home. If a parent wants their child to have these materials they have the right to buy it themselves and keep it at home.

VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am an evangelical Christian that upholds 7 core beliefs are essential. These beliefs relate to God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, humanity, salvation, and the end of time. I believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and without mistakes, as originally written. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the only unfailing rule of faith and practice for the Christian life. I believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power. I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return. I believe that man was created by and for God; that by man’s disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice. I believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial death and are, therefore, in the right relationship with God. I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the believer. I believe in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in a right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God’s forgiveness in His Son.

Under what circumstances (if any) should schools be allowed to require vaccinations?
Forcing children to get a vaccine for which no long-term safety data exists is immoral. Vaccines are a personal decision and schools should not be mandating them.
