Mankind has a natural tendancy to seek out power and control. Many individuals also believe that they are able to avoid corruption even with absolute power. The separation of powers prevents the solipsism that is so dangerous and yet common from occuring with the absolute power that would occur without checks and balances.

I am a registered nurse and graduate of Loyola University of Chicago. I have worked in health care primarily. I ran for the Dane County Board in the spring of 2012, unsuccessfully. I am active in the pro-life community, my parish Christ the King in McFarland. I have taught religious education for the past 20 years there and served on the parish council and adult ed groups. I am active in the parochial school my son attends,in Monona, serving on the home and school board for 6 years. I am the mother of 5 children, and have been involved in their community activities, including Boy Scouts and swim team. I have served as an election official for 5 years.

My church Christ the King in McFarland, Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Monona, Pro-Life WI, Republican Party events in Dane County, Badger Childhood Cancer Network, American Family Children's Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, Radiate Hope Fundraisers, St. Ambrose Academy, Boy Scouts of America, Wounded Warriors.
