To oversee all aspects of providing Children the opportunity of a well-rounded education and prepare them for the future. Also the Board must maintain complete awareness and control of resources in order to insure a quality education to each student.

The Board has the responsibility approved the curriculum based on the Superintendents recommendation, which is the result of the administration research.
When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?
No , they have a right to express their concerns and in turn the Board must address all issues.

It starts at home, but in today's world unmatured babies are having babies now come the highly educated professionals and create a mind of confusionl. I feel this question is loaded to put candidates in a difficult position. Appropriate Age?????

A formal transparent approach such as the above is in my opinion well served with the exception of the last 2 (sex acts and pleasures of sex). Though I am not a proponent of abortion , I do not feel deep abortion methods need not to be presented. But rather maintain a mindset of the seriousness of the abortion process.

Values are values, but here again the overly educated bring confusion and disagreement. Board members, parents/ teachers and leadership must demonstrate values at every level and adhere to such.

The past 7 plus years I have been involved in a sincere mindset to be honest and transparent in every decision regarding School District Business. I have maintained a humble approach that I am proud of . I believe in parity within the components of our district and have strived to be equitable for all areas of the Ysleta School District. I am not afraid to tackle the tough issues and I have strived to make decisions rather than ride the fence. I have taken a cautious approach to the financial aspects of running the District, keep in mind YISD has gone from 42,000 students to 36,225 students today..
2ND AMENDMENT
Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.

Teachers are loaded in the respective duties and I do not want another load on them. This issue opens up the Liability aspect. We need to visit this more in detail. Keep in mind guns are to kill as we were trained in the military.

The current requirements have been in place for sometime I don't know where this question is appropriate. Vaccinations are a public health issue.
