RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
According to the 9th and 10th Amendments to the Constitution for the United States of America, each state has the exclusive right to determine many issues for themselves, including abortion - therefore, the 2020 SCOTUS ruling was a long awaited correction to an error made in the 70's. I would not author a bill to change the Minnesota Constitution, but I might sign one if I agreed with its full text. In cases where a mother's life is threatened, there HAS to be a better way to try to save both lives, perhaps a real medical procedure like a C-section, instead of ripping a baby from the womb, limb by limb.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
The Planned Parenthood organization started by the racist eugenicist, Margaret Sanger to primarily target black neighborhoods to reduce population, should not receive ANY government funding.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Our Constitution was specifically written to forbid the federal government from taxing the income of state's citizens. The preamble to the constitution explains that it was established, in part, to provide for the GENERAL welfare of the nation- NOT the specific welfare of ANY individuals or groups. This changed in 1913, when the 16th Amendment was signed by President Wilson after counting the ratifications of some states which had rescinded their ratifications. The best change to federal tax code would be to repeal the fraudulently ratified 16th Amendment which enabled the federal government to steal Power from the People and their States by taxing individual income to redistribute as involuntary charity, while providing immense financial incentive to huge corporations and special interests to bribe congresspeople to pass loopholes for themselves, and regulations that intimidate and interfere with the feasible operations of vulnerable independent small family businesses with red tape and bureaucratic oppression that huge corporations can afford to hire teams of administrators to navigate. For Minnesota, we should relieve the people of all sales tax on used cars sold for less than $5000. We should also relieve parents of any sales taxes on products for babies. There is so much more that we can do to help families, like a FULL homestead property tax relief in properties up to 5 units that are owned by married families with children. This would incentivize homeownership as well as encouraging families to build generational wealth as they grow, while also enabling growing families to provide for more independent housing as their kids continue education or start their own businesses as adolescents or young adults. We not only need more families owning their own homes, but also becoming housing providers.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Omnibus packages that are too long to read and include provisions for cronies of politicians should be eliminated. Simple bills are possible, even for government spending. When a bad omnibus bill gets through congress, we need the President to have the power of a line-item veto. We should not be funding foreign wars, and our state's National Guard soldiers should never be deployed overseas without a formal declaration of war from the U.S. Congress.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
Guaranteed government funding removes competition from schools, allowing them to design and teach curricula that teaches students to be codependent on government, instead of teaching them real skills and knowledge to competitively qualify for fruitful employment, and to start their own businesses once they're ready to reach for more personal growth. With true competition, colleges and universities would design curriculum to truly help students succeed, while setting a much better example.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
One should never be compelled by law to sin.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never. The first amendment is clear. Government should never be allowed to violate people's right to peacefully assemble, especially in churches.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Guaranteed government funding KILLS competition and makes anything it touches cost much more to provide much less. The UNaffordable Care Act DECIMATED the incomes of middle class workers, whereas, some states like Minnesota already had programs like MinnesotaCare to help those with little income, and general assistance medical care (GAMC) for those with no income. ACA also oppressed small businesses, and intimidates people from starting and/or growing their own small businesses. Families should be also encouraged to provide for their own aging family members, instead of the government pushing to isolate them and rape them of all generational wealth. C, and eventually D if we come up with better solutions that orifice for FAMILIES First, not medical institutions that should have to be competitive in order to survive.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
No institution should be allowed to require taking unproven experimental drugs, and people should always have feasible exemption options for any drugs.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
The United States should Stop creating and spreading terrorism with destabilizing interventions for regime changes that are really aimed at installing central banks and sending refugees scrambling to other nations to destabilize them. Many of our wars and conflicts are done to supposedly protect our national interest- which, after Nixon removed the Gold Standard from the dollar, our interest often depends on preserving the international value of the dollar as a global reserve currency. We need United States Treasury notes backed by our own gold, like President Kennedy was murdered for trying to accomplish with his Executive Order 11110, or like Abraham Lincoln tried to do with Greenbacks. Even president Jackson tried to keep America's banking from being owned by foreign interests. Stop the international dysfunctional cycle that turns weak presidents into puppets to foreign interests and/or UN doctrines.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Boundaries and citizenship create nations. Our Constitution and our borders are our boundaries. The legal naturalization process includes familiarization with our nation's amazing constitution, and that education should be expanded to include the origins of our constitution. The left insists on skipping that process, and instead, meeting immigrants close to the border and at entry points in other states where they're flown and bussed into, to sign them up for government codependence programs
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Only those who follow our laws for naturalization should be allowed to immigrate and become citizens
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
Since the federal government currently insists on funding education, that funding should follow students to wherever their families and PARENTS enroll them as students- even for homeschooling and self directed homeschool co-ops and private educational associations, with funding DIRECTED BY PARENTS.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
The constitution was established in a foundation of Biblical principles. That foundation led to more prosperity and voluntary charity than any society in history - so much that we were able to eradicate more poverty worldwide than ever before.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
The mental & emotional CHILD ABUSE gaslight of CRT is based on identical tactics of parental alienation, to push marxist division into supposed "oppressed" and "oppressor" groups, focusing on America's long past sins, and denying all of America's amazing accomplishments and growth, like abolishing slavery. It programs 'loathing of origins', which can manifest into symptoms of complex-PTSD that are identical to Borderline Personality characteristics of self-hatred, self harm, & suicidal ideation
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I love the healing joy of a personal relationship with Our creator, Our Father, God. His love is unconditional, but a relationship with Him is conditional- as he cannot look upon sin. We all sin, but if we identify and recognize his clearly spelled out requirements for that relationship, and turn our lives around to not sin, then, thanks to Jesus dying for our sins, we may be forgiven, and enjoy the blessings of a relationship with Our Father. America needs to repent, or we will not continue enjoying God's blessings.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
We NEED to require photo ID to prove citizenship and eligibility to vote.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Require photo ID, Make voting day a national holiday so that all citizens can get to the polls, and finalize all voting at the end of that day. Stop using computerized voting machines.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No, but the left is trying to divide us according to race, to foment persecution to falsely justify attacks on all of our constitutional systems.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Reparations are what oppressed Germans after WW1 so much that they were desparate enough to accept the lies and persecutions of a murderous dictator, and the 'ultimate cancel culture' holocaust that he eventually directed. The left is trying every imaginable tactic to devastate the economic power of the American people, to destroy independence and force submission to government codependence, using the same tactics, including brainwashing kids in schools to pressure society to accept abuses.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. We should protect environment in reasonable and responsible ways, but adhering to UN-sustainable development initiatives only handicaps our nation's access to our national strengths and independence. Some reasonable and responsible regulations may be necessary, but following the InterNational Socialist UN's agendas only destroys national sovereignty and redistributes any resources we can access to other nations while amplifying potential weaknesses and leaving America defenseless. Biden is literally selling us out, deliberately.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To protect the independence and sovereignty of citizens, and defend the nation against attacks.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
"Conservative" does NOT mean ignorance nor negligence of the importance of CONSERVING our beautiful lands and waters. It refers to conserving our constitution and the principles described in the Declaration of Independence - for which many of those who signed it were severely punished by King George III.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Recent speech on the Mn Capitol steps was recorded and played live on Facebook by a few people - then my main Facebook profile was "suspended" the next week.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I'm running to put Families First, and to share a message of 'Healing Minnesota- from the Eastside, out. My first priority is to pass a bill requiring Minnesota family courts to presume 50/50 PARENTING, and replacing all vernacular about "custody" to "parenting". Then we need a task force to research how to legislatively and judicially recognize, identify, and reduce practices and occurrences of the mental and emotional abuse of kids through parental alienation of targeted parents by other parents or government agencies - to Stop the gaslighting of Our Kids. Children's access to both parents must be protected wherever there is no proven evidence of abuse. Broken families need access to resources for reunification therapy for alienated kids and parents, and parents who cannot afford those resources and/or legal counsel should be aided by the state, just as criminals are provided public defenders. Too often, poor parents are powerless against better funded alienating parents or state agencies. And we need to protect children from porn pushed in public schools under the dis-guise of 'CSE' 'Comprehensive Sex Education'. We need to protect family's homes by relieving families of property tax burdens, which may encourage and empower families by and OWN their own homes, and to stay together. And we need to encourage and protect family businesses so that families may feed themselves well. Healing requires firm boundaries. The laws that We the People of a society in a democratic republic elects representatives to pass ARE the boundaries intended to provide safety and security to maintain the independent sovereignty of individuals and families, and the small businesses created by these to provide for themselves and their communities. The United States Constitution and State Constitutions are the Supreme Law of the Land, in that order. We need to restore ALL practices of putting those laws FIRST - and any laws that are repugnant to those constitutions should first be considered null and void, then be identified and repealed. Our families and people and their small businesses should never be vulnerable to overreaching and overtaxing governments and unelected bureaucratic agencies and influence of crony corporations. The POWER of the PEOPLE must be restored to heal America, starting at right at home FIRST and working out through our communities and churches to heal our towns and cities, then counties, and so on; for each of our United States to truly thrive again. We need to elect people who respect the proper constitutional roles of government in our relationship with government. We need to put family relationships first, to enhance the developing independence of ALL of our children, for posterity's sake - for their Prosperity and Liberty in Minnesota and America. On the Eastside of Saint Paul, we can start in that direction by electing me to represent the people of St Paul's Eastside in the Minnesota House of Representatives ~ Scott Hesselgrave
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
If police can be personally sued for performing their duty according to their department's policies, then we would not have enforcement of laws, and crime would become even more rampant than it's become after the 2020 campaigns to denegrate law enforcement. Without enforcement of laws, we have no boundaries to secure our safety and security.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
Police departments should be FULLY funded. Any other programs should attain separate funding.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Strict adherence to the second amendment to the Constitution.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Manufacturers do not control the use of products. Car makers are not responsible for accidents, nor incidents. Neither are knife makers. Gun manufacturers are essential for Americans to defend themselves and liberty according to the second amendment.
