The superintendent, the curriculum team and the stakeholders set curriculum and determine resources. There after they will present to the board seeking adoption.
When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?
Parents can make public comments, but a school board may set some restrictions like a time limit. A parent can be prohibited from making a public comment when the speech is abusive, repetitive, harassing towards an individual or when they state people's names.

I am a public school educator that is passionate and dedicated, with 40 years of public education experience. I have always advocated for the students and the front-line employees that serve them.
