RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe abortion should be legal in circumstances that threaten the life of the mother. At this time, given the current state of medical technology, I also believe abortion should be legal until somewhere between the 11th and 15th week of the pregnancy. While I believe that an abortion in this range is unacceptable to many people on both sides of the debate, I believe that it is acceptable to the majority of the public and could essentially end the 50-year divisive debate on the subject. The majority of industrialized countries in the EU do not permit unfettered abortion until the moment a child leaves the womb, as does Colorado, California and other States. Most of the EU countries permit abortion up until a specific time frame, usually in the area of 14-16 weeks. This is where the majority of minds are willing to compromise on this subject and move forward. I would personally rather see abortion limited to instances of rape, saving the life of the mother or up until 7 weeks, however for the sake of ending the divisive, and sometimes violent, nature of this debate, I can accept a law that would permit abortion through the first 12-16 weeks of gestation. Or, to save the life of the mother. Or, in the case of rape. Why is there NEVER a referendum on this issue? Because politicians from both the left and right want to keep "the people", "their subjects" at each other's throats so they can deflect anger off of themselves. Politicians LOVE to keep this issue going so they can fundraise, which, aside from staying in office, is their main goal. End the conflict. Put a referendum on the ballot. Let the people choose. Politicians claim to love "democracy". So be it. Put out a referendum and let the people pick a number so we can move forward. I believe Coloradans would choose a number around 14 weeks gestation if given the opportunity at the ballot box. There will always be California / Illinois / New York / Oregon / Washington / Massachusetts / Vermont (unfettered abortions) for people that feel they need to have an abortion days or minutes before the child is born. If we can move past this issue, we can begin to spread another message.... adoption. Pay the mother to have the child and let someone or some couple adopt the child. We could have hundreds of adoption agencies instead of hundreds of abortion agencies.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Taxation is theft. No agency or entity should be receiving stolen money from taxpayers. I don't to pay for my neighbor's daughter's abortion as much as my neighbor does not want to pay for my new bathroom remodel.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Agree
This is simply freedom for the individual to have control over their own life.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
We obviously can't move to a system of 0 taxes immediately. I would put forth a plan for a flat tax. No carve outs for anything. 5%. 8%. 10%. Make taxes easy. Get rid of the Big Tax Industry. HR Block. tax attorneys, the need for agents to a plethora of agents to collect taxes. No difference in income, i.e. different rates for hedge funds vs. teachers and firemen. Everyone paus __%. if you earn money. No carried interest or other loopholes. If you earn money, you pay __% and if you lose money, then you lost money. Your neighbor should not be burdened if your business loses money. Simple, easy, anyone can file their own taxes very easily.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Everything. No exceptions. Spending decreases across the board. 1% every calendar year. Otherwise, EVERYONE will have pet projects. Take the 2019 budget (pre-covid) and slash everything 1% across the board every year. Make the agencies leaner and less wasteful, no more of the mindset that they have to spend every penny in their budgets so that can ask for an increase every year. We all know how government works: "spend every penny of the budget, ask for more money every year, grow your own department, get promoted up, repeat". Every incentive is to grow the government. This is exactly how spending/government get out of control.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
Some people do not want to go to college. A lot of people should not go to college. There are a plethora of incredibly skilled people out there (electricians, carpenters, plumbers) that did not go to college. We NEED more these skilled people. We simply do not need to publicly fund sociology degrees or human resource type degrees. Why should plumbers and electricians pay for other people's degrees. And, if your degree is so wonderful, it should pay for itself. Go get it and pay for it.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never. Ever. The government should never ever have the power to ever close ANY business or entity. Covid lockdowns were the single biggest mistake in human history, and I have read a ton of history. A government with this type of power is simply a totalitarian entity. This is completely against individual human rights.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
D. I see healthcare every day as an RN. It is a mess. Big Pharma, the Government, Government Unions and the Health Insurance Industry have obliterated the healthcare industry in the US. Only the incredible Doctors, RN, CNAs, have kept it going this long. It is all a scam that can only end in total government control. Healthcare is a typical government quagmire - the government promulgates so many nonsensical rules, regulations, and laws that they then "step in" to "solve" the problem they created. Healthcare is a monumental ripoff. We spend about twice as much as other industrialized nations on healthcare. We need actual price transparency. No more loopholes for corporations/unions to pay for employee healthcare. Tear it all down and start over. Who believes government makes things better? Who relishes going to the DMV? Who salivates at the prospect of going to court? Government is parasite. Get the government out of EVERYTHING, including healthcare.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
NEVER! EVER! The covid jabs were like a dystopian nightmare. Forcing nurses and doctors out of jobs when they were needed most. Forcing truck drivers, teachers, In-N-Out employees out of jobs. Mandatory jabs are an abomination. This was partnership of Big Pharma and Government gone wild. I am still in shock today that NOBODY has been held accountable for this abuse of human rights. Forcing someone to put a chemical into their body against their will. Straight out of 1984 Orwell. If you want a jab, go for it. But, forcing people to put chemicals into their bodies is akin to forced sterilization or forced lobotomies, or Nazi experiments. I thought those were just things that incurred in history books. This is what happens when you give control to the government.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Nothing. Stay home. We have over 750 US military bases in 80 countries!!! Maybe if we stay home, close 90% of those bases, stop bombing people with drones, they will hate us less. Imagine this. No, really, close your eyes.... imagine some foreign country (maybe China), sending drones over your neighborhood and they kill Joe or Samantha down the block because that foreign country believed he or she was a terrorist. Are you next on their list? Bush and Obama did this over and over. YOU too would be very angry and your kids would grown up and be angry. I think this country is SICK and tired of these foreign wars that do nothing but enrich Lockheed, Raytheon, etc... and do nothing but make the world hate us.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
Stay out of other people's business. Focus on America. Flat tax. Ending government waste, fraud and abuse. Ending massive government budgets.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
If you do not have a border, you do not have a country. We might as well just fold it all up. If you want to open the border, we should just, literally, end the entire government tomorrow. If you want any government, you must have a border.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Either put all immigration on hold for 5-10 years as we did about 100 years ago, or we can have a sponsor system where people or companies sponsor people. The sponsors would then be responsible for that immigrant, and they would have to take care of them if they become destitute. They could put up a bond for that person, enough to pay for a ticket back home if the person/company no longer wanted to or could care for them. I would be open to some limited visas for jobs we NEED, not jobs we just don't feel like offering to Americans - such as companies like Fakebook and Disney importing cheaper tech workers. These companies are just using the visa system as another scam on the American people to keep wages low. This is what happens with government power, it is always abused.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Neutral
Technically, a marriage "license" is a government construct. No license should be necessary. A license is what you get when the government steals away your rights, then lets you pay to get it back.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in God. I believe all rights come from God. The government can't grant you rights. The government does nothing except take away rights given to you by God.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Voter ID. NO mail in voting. If it is important to vote, get off your butt and do it. Otherwise, stay home. If it is not important to you, we do not need your vote. I would propose that only people that pay Federal, State or property taxes get to vote. 99% of voting these days is about how to distribute tax dollars, why should those who pay no taxes get to decide those matters? Ideally, the government should shrink down to its 1900 size, then nobody would care much about voting.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. I am sick of this subject. If people want to live in a segregated manner, so be it. Forced busing was a terrible, rotten idea. Talking about race is feeding into the narrative of pitting people against each other. No more race talk. Let's talk about politicians and slashing government. Focus on the politicians, not the black people, white people, pink people, space aliens, etc. Where do our problems come from - government and life-long politicians.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
The Green New Deal is another Government scam. How did Al Gore get so rich? Green scams. Let the market decide. I think the market will decide on oil, gas and nuclear. All the things government hates, because they are cheap and affordable.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To take money from as many people as possible and distribute it to people or corporations that bribe politicians. We give it a nice term, "lobbying". My dad always told me, "if some guy you don't know giver you money, you owe him something". That is a politician. Taking money from people or companies they don't know, and then they owe them. But, politicians don't have much money. So, they take it from taxpayers to pay off their own debts to those "lobbyists". That has been the chief purpose of government since the income tax and the Federal Reserve in 1913. Road can easily be built by private companies and law enforcement has NO DUTY to protect you. The Supreme Court has said this. We saw in Uvalde that you are better off protecting yourself and your family than waiting for law enforcement. I have nothing against law enforcement, but they don't wait for other police to protect their families, do they? No, they carry at all times. Just as I do, whenever I can. Plus, most of law enforcement these days is not solving or stopping crimes, it is writing reports for insurance companies so you can be reimbursed for the accident or stolen bike.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I find this question incomplete as I do not let labels define me. I am VERY anti-war. I would close down every military base outside the US. I would bring home every single American service member. I would end every war or "incursion" tomorrow. I am very pro individual. I want as near zero government as we can get. I want people and churches to be left alone. I want no forced government anything (jabs, masks, licenses, etc.). I want a national divorce, divide the US into 6...10 States.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I have no web sites. I have never had a media interview in my life.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
Our State government has grown massively since I have lived in Colorado... almost all my adult life. in 1994, I never ever would have thought this beautiful, rugged, individualistic State would be led by someone from Boulder. We are nothing but a client State of California, where I came from. And I came here in 1994 to GET AWAY from California rules, regulations and insane laws. We need to end Government tyranny. End mandates. End waste, fraud abuse and make government smaller. The only way to go back to where I think people want to be, back when life was not ALL about politics, is to make government smaller. If we had the government of 1910, we would not need to argue about who gets this tax break, who pays more, who is going to pay for my schooling, does my child's teacher support BLM, etc.... Make Government Smaller!! Make us less political. Bring back family values, NOT government funded values (Big Pharma, Big Tech, Military Industrial Complex wars, Government funded Universities etc..). We are all people run the media, Hollywood, these BIG interest groups and the government. Look into who owns the medial groups and corporations. There are essentially 11 corporations that own most of the companies on the planet (Kellogs, Mars, Kraft, J&, etc.) and there are about 6 groups that own all media in the world (Sony, News Corp, Disney, Comcast, Viacom, Time Waner). These 17 entities and the government collude together to rule us all. They are our rulers. Make Government Smaller. Go back to family values, not government values.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Disagree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Neutral
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Another left wing scam to ruin gun manufacturers, yet they have no problem giving Pfizer immunity from the destructive jab.
