QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Neutral

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only in the first two trimesters, or if the life of the mother is in danger.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

Redistribution does not work; we need to educate and train our workforce.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

we are the greatest debtor nation this world has ever known and if we don’t start reducing it our economy will collapse. No nation in the history of the world has been able to continuously borrow without dire consequences. This is one of the reasons inflation is crippling our middle and lower classes

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

we need to make our tax code simpler. By taking out many of the tax breaks that are given to certain industries. I would try to implement a modified flat tax system

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

I believe in the First Amendment in the right of every individual to worship the way they wish as long as it does not interfere with others which also means the state should not put demands on the people this country that goes against the religious beliefs

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

There should be limited in only rarely exercise vaccination mandates, especially those with side effects or that are experimental. We need to have completely transparent medical information both pros and cons of any vaccination before the government or the private sector can require an individual to take one

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

None of the above.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

we need to work with Islamic countries and organizations that are not extremists to educate their populations and strengthening the economic opportunities of their communities. Only in rare circumstances should we resort to military action

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Neutral

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

we need immigration to fill the professions in job skills we need for our nations economic health.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Is there racism in this country yes, however I believe it is overhyped in the media. We have come a long way. I’m old enough to remember that interracial marriages were taboo. Now they are commonplace. The problem is not so much racism but economic opportunities for the poor and less educated communities in our country. You can go to places in this country where the majority of people are on some kinds of public assistance are mostly white. Poverty does not care what race you are

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was race Roman Catholic but I no longer believe, I am in an agnostic but I live my life according to the Golden rule. However I will defend everyone’s right to worship .in their own way because I believe in our Constitution

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I’ve been involved in politics since 1992 and I’ve seen voter fraud in numerous elections. Mostly on a small scale but it does happen. We must keep the integrity of our elections intact. Over the last decade more and more people do not trust our elections. In the continues this way our country faces dire consequences

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I would limit absentee voting because it leads to too much fraud. And it’s been happening for decades both Democratic and Republican election winners have been overturned in court’s because of absentee ballot fraud. Most states are now allowing multiple date voting which I would expand to the entire nation. I would allow same-day voter registration in I would mandate that everyone running federal elected office has to debate their opponents.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

If we continue going along the path we are going of separating the races and demonizing everything Western then yes race relations could lead to violent end. We need to teach all history and listen to our elite intellectuals such as Thomas Sowell who is a black economist with studied extensively black history around the world. His writings should be mandatory teaching to every student in the United States

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://www.westsiderag.com/2022/08/12/whys-a-republican-running-in-a-district-like-this

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

ideas come from the left the rights my only concern is will it work and help the people of this country. I am a staunch defender of our Constitution. I believe in freedom of speech even if it’s hate speech! We need to free exchange of ideas that is the only way we will understand each other and be able to live in a free society. I do not believe in this cancel culture because this is a totalitarian view of the world. We need to bring people together by listening to each other. We must relearn that we can agree to disagree and still be friends. This is the only way our constitutional republic can survive. We must remember George Washington’s farewell address where he stated “one of the chief dangers of letting regional loyalties dominate loyalty to the nation as a whole was that it would lead to factionalism, or the development of competing political parties. When Americans voted according to party loyalty, rather than the common interest of the nation, I feared it would foster a “spirit of revenge,” and enable the rise of “cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men” who would “usurp for themselves the reins of government; destroying afterwards the very engines, which have lifted them to unjust dominion.” I feared this is where we are at right now our country is facing grave dangers internally and externally no. This is why I’m running for office to try to bring people back together. This is what I’ve been doing my entire life growing up in the military and working in the private, public and nonprofit sectors I have a vast understanding of American life. And I’ve worked with people in both parties from the beginning of my political career. That’s why I have Democratic and Republican endorsements. Let’s heal this nation continuously divided.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

Except under extreme circumstances where they were criminally negligent

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

we need to increase the funding for mental illness but this should not come at the expense of public safety

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

the only restriction I would place on gun ownership is extensive training in the proper care usage and safety of gun ownership. I would mandate at least the 60 hour training course before people can purchase firearms.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
