QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
In cases of rape, incest or threat to either the child or mother's health and survival. Plus, I also support the right of a woman to make decisions on her own health status.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Disagree
Many abortions occur with minority women in poverty, and they do not have the means or wherewithal to afford their own health care.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Dont get involved in the Middle East
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
When the common good is threatened
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Working people should pay less taxes than rich people
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Defense; subsidies to industries
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Agree
Education should be a right which enables all citizens equal opportunities to gain employment and function as an informed and educated human being.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Disagree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Everybody. We are a nation of immigrants and have a wonderful heritage of opening our borders to all peoples. We especially need to be open to refugees from war-torn countries or where there is violence and threats to the well-being of the population. Any individual seeking asylum has a right to apply legally. Our country is a vast nation with many open lands and new opportunities. If we can continue to provide the resources necessary for our nation to grow, we should be open to accommodate new immigrants. They are an enrichment to our quality of life and culture.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Disagree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Opposed to open carry, assault rifles, semi-automatic guns, except for first responders. Ownership of guns should not be allowed for males until the end of their 25th year of age. The minds of American males are not able to correctly analyze situations maturely until their brain is fully developed, which scientifically does not occur among males until the end of 25 years. Mental health problems should disqualify individuals for ownership of guns. Limited sizes of ammunition packs should be enforced.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Neutral
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To serve the needs of its people. Government should form programs that address the legitimate needs of its people. It should not provide programs that reward its citizens of wealth and privilege.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Liberal
I am a compassionate conservative who stands up for protecting our basic freedoms of free speech, assembly, religion and to petition our government openly with regard to grievances. I also strongly support the right of due process in legal matters, and to preserve and protect out history, culture and heritge.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
am a man of convictions, based on fairness, equality, honesty. Not afraid to stand up on principle despite political correctness or pressures of public opinion. Have a long history of being vindicated despite standing alone or with minority opinion i.e. wars, due process for all individuals, running against corruption and losing but proven right against a candidate, an administration or political party that I opposed. In my personal life I stood up to hypocrisy when in the Catholic seminary (Franciscan Order) for five years, and later it changed in directions of my earlier criticisms. I stood up to unethical or unfair bosses and institutions in my work and in my three years of US Peace Corps work in Latin America as a Volunteer. I stood up for low-income workers and higher wages for the minimum wage people.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
integrity, ethical conduct, moral living, honesty, fairness, equality, faith, humility, respect. these are what I believe in and try to practice.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Agree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Same day registration be allowed nationwide. Return the right to vote to ex-felons without imposing past court costs, fines, etc. as a requirment. Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) Vote 1, 2, 3. Majority winners, No spoilers, No expensive Run-offs, FAIR AND SIMPLE. Voters like it. Election Day should be a national holiday. Voting aat precincts should be allowed for at least three straight days, including weekends.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. The threat comes from an unequal and unfair economic system that favors privilege over equal opportunity and fairness. Out economic system is based on the profit-motive and survival of the fittest, as opposed to a more egalitarian economy that would enable all citizens to have a better quality of life. While different levels of economic status should continue, there should be a basic income that provides everyone with proper nutritional food, health care, housing and a decent wage and work.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Reparations can come in the form of economic payments, public apologies, erection of statues, establishment of foundations to those affected. It should be based on historically what ethnic groups were abused, mistreated, deportated, expelled and were subject to abuse, humiliation, and even death. Chinese, Mexican-American citizens, Japanese, Irish, Italians, Polish, Afro-Americans, Catholics, Muslims, etc.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
B
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Disagree
