List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

As an SBOE member, my priorities to reduce waste would be: 1. Protect the Permanent School Fund through strong oversight, accountability, and prudent investing. 2. Ensure districts have access to high-quality instructional materials at the best value for taxpayers. 3. Demand transparency and accountability for taxpayer-funded instructional materials and programs. 4. Eliminate wasteful or ineffective programs and prioritize education dollars on strong academics and workforce readiness.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Thomas Jefferson's 1802 letter written to the Danbury Baptists is not found in the Constitution. It protects against government interference, not a mandate to remove faith from the public sphere.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Government should not compel individuals to violate their sincerely held religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C.
