OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I believe that every life is important.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am 100% against abortion.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
I believe taxation is theft. Redistribution of someone else's money is socialism.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I support a small, limited government; cutting budgets, defunding many unneccessary expenditures.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
The first ammendment clearly specifies freedom to one's religious views and must be upheld. I totally uphold the separation of church and state.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The relationship should be none except to protect the freedom and privacy of every individual to practice and believe the way they choose.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
They should NEVER be able to. Vaccine mandates in any form are a violation of the constitution. They violate our freedoms; our personal right to choose and many people's religious beliefs.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Although D is optimal, until we make changes C is necessary. The whole healthcare system has gotten out of control because of government handling and abuse. Medical choice in medicine should be available in the free market. We need to stop prosecuting alternative doctors. For example, Samuel Giraud, an Amish man who spent time in jail for making chickweed salve. The FDA should be abolished. Let each individual choose their own path in Medical choice, and doctors practice as their conscience directs, then we can make some real changes.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C. I would support bringing all of our troops home. I would NO on the next unneccessary, politically driven war.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Neutral
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Neutral
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
By respecting their sovereignty, and bringing our troops home. Protect our own sovereignty.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Disagree
Immigration policies and regulations violate the God given human right to freedom, life, liberty and property.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Neutral
I'm against federal funding, broadly. I'm not against the sovereignty of a state offering sanctuary cities to individuals, on a local level.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Immigration isn't the issue, government payed handouts are. Our country was built on hard working immigrants seeking a better life.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
All individuals have a right to choose their own path, under the first ammendment. There do not need to be any more laws, or classes made, to protect the inalienable rights that already exist on an individual basis. Individual rights, though, cannot infringe upon the individual, religious or moral rights of others.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am of Seventh day Anabaptist persuasion. We are non denominational. I am non-resistant on a personal basis and in my faith. But I strongly advocate and stand up to fight in a peaceable manner for those who are being abused or have their rights violated. We homeschool our 12 children. I believe one's faith is an individual, personal walk, not unlike politics, which in many cases become a form of tyranny. Politics in America have become almost a form of religion, dictating to us to choose between two mainstreams of thought and the baggage that goes with it, putting us in a box and not allowing us to use our consciences.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Agree
I choose this answer because many people have religious beliefs in opposition to photos.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Did not answer
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I don't believe racism is a domestic security issue. Racism is morally wrong, but should not be a crime on the basis of speechor thought. The first ammendment protects against even undesirable speech and thought. If there is no victim there is no crime.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
I do not believe we are hurting our environment. Producing gas is necessary for our way of life and economy. My concern would come if or when personal property or water rights would possibly be effected.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. I'm for less government regulations.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
What used to be considered conservative is not what the conservative is today. We have too many pro government agendas among so called conservatives wanting more war, higherctaxes and less freedoms. Being conservative in my mind means li.uted, small government.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I have been invited and have accepted the debates in every county in my district. Feel free to come and ask questions in your county.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
My dream is to abolish real estate property taxes, and to replace it with a fair sales tax. By having limited government, we could abolish most taxes. Abolish the FBI. Abolish the IRS. Abolish the CPS. Abolish the EPA. Just to mention a few of our corrupt government agencies. End federal jurisdiction, interventions and prosecution within a state.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Disagree
I would totally end qualified immunity and hold the individual officer and the department responsible. 'Just doing my job' shod never be an excuse to commit crimes or violate individual liberties. I support an elected, constitutional sheriff.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
I would support defunding the police and giving the powers back to the local sheriffs department, removing all federal government and federal funding. Mental health and community programs need to be left in the private sector. Freedom to choose one's private doctor or counselor as per individual rights without any government taxing us to pay for it.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I am 100% for the constitutional right of ownership of guns. 'Shall not be infringed'. No registration of guns. No background checks. Punish the criminal, not the gun.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
This logic is holding someone else accountable for another's actions, and is not justice, but a lynch mob.
