What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The purpose of the government is to protect the citizens from bad things. Another purpose of it is that the government gives laws and set the limits of power by separating them. Another purpose would be is that the government would also be in control of what goes on. The last purpose it gives or shows is that protects everybody form the bad things. That's the purpose of the government.

If they are following the training and regulations of the department then yes I do agree that they should be immune from prosecution. However if they go outside the boundaries of their duties and a crime is committed by the officer then they should be prosecuted

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
