RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Planned Parenthood offers many medical services to people who otherwise would have no place else to go.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Anytime the mother or baby are in danger.
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

These decisions are very difficult. However, they should not be made by the government or anyone outside the family. These decisions are private and people don't need anyone hounding them.
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

These embryos belong to the parent or parents. What are you going to do with them? They can't be forcibly put into women. and men can't carry babies. Again another private decision
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Now they are dictating where medicine can be delivered. All types of drugs are shipped daily. Who knows what they are or how they are used. Birth control pills are used to help people with acne. Another law restricting women's rights.

What is your position on the minimum wage?
Minimum wage should increase yearly. It should be based on how much the cost of living goes up
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

We need companies to employ people, these people work to make the product which is then sold to the consumer. The most important person in the people who make the product. We need the companies and the consumers, however no employees no product.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
I pick my church and I pick my party. My minister does not tell me who to vote for. My church does not back candidates. Using the Bible to endorse a candidate goes against all New Testament teachings.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

If a business doesn't want to serve somebody based on their beliefs, fine. People can make the decision to use that business.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
B: would be the closest. Medicare and Medicaid for those who need it, private healthcare either employer given as a benefit or user purchased as needed, .
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Databases should be kept as to see which illnesses affect Americans. This would tell us which diseases need further research. Also, these databases could also be used to track those in the medical professions who are abusing the system.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

They always have and always will. We can have economic agreements with them but we still need to keep on top of all the things they do. We have the same capability as they do. We just need to be diligent.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Truly it is not. The Isreal prime minister has his own plan for the mid east. He seems to want to control the region much like Russia. We should not be helping Isreal destroy more countries.
IMMIGRATION
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

There should always be a place for people. As long as they are here legally. Sanctuary cities should a place where people can get the help they need to become US citizens.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

The department of education is needed to help the states and communities. They offer guidance on all thing related to education. Well as least they used to!
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Foreign governments should not be able to fund anything in the US. They can pay for their children to attend our schools.

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Parents should be the ones to direct their children whether it is education or religion. The government can set the standards for education, but it is the parents' duty to see that their children get that education. Parents also have total control over their child's health. The government should not interfere unless the parents are doing more harm than good
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Attempts by who? The parents, educators or the student themselves? This is a completely private matter. Why add more stress to an already very stressful and emotional time.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Such a hard subject! Gambling or gaming is a good source of revenue for the native American communities and charities. There is no need to expand it! It is currently in every bar and some restaurants and gas stations, can't think of any other paces they could possibly go.

I believe in a loving God. I believe in the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament. I try every day to live the life He would want me to. And if I don't, He is there to forgive and give me another chance.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

A verified state ID with your picture should be enough. However, voters also need proof of current residence so they make sure they vote in the right district, ward or county, etc.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Everyone should be treated the same based on their work ethic.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

This topic has been around for years. There are no easy answers. Men should not be allowed in any women places. If they have had the complete and I mean complete operations to transition then they should be allowed to use the places women do. Men playing in women sports gives then an advantage.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

We were told of all this in the 70's didn't listen then and look where we are. We are getting to the point where any damage cannot be reversed.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
I believe it is nuclear. We need to work on keeping the planet livable. We are running out of water and fossil fuels burned without safeguards on add the problem. Solar and wind are great, but storage is problem.

I believe that every person in America has basic rights that need to be addressed. Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness means just that! We all have different ideas of these freedoms and thus we should not force our lifestyles on others. Also, a place to life, food and access to education are also rights all Americans should have access to.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
The guilty need to be punished for their wrongdoing. Criminals hurt everyone. Whether its stealing, murder, assault or even shoplifting, lessons need to be taught. We let too many go unpunished and this is just telling them to do whatever they wish. And if we know someone is guilty, we need to prosecute them quickly, not let it drag on for years
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Government and parents! Governments can only do so much if the parents aren't doing their job checking what the children are watching.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Not knowing too much about this type of law, we need to follow the law when it comes tto justice.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
This too is a tough topic. My husband, son and grandchildren are all hunters. They have done all the classes and keep their guns safe. We need to have better ways to register all guns. Gunowners need to cooperate in getting the items registered. There should also be a ban against assault rifles and the size of magazines.
