QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I do not believe abortion should be allowed under any circumstances, often the life of the mother would be an exception but that can often spin into emotional life ect...so it would need to be restricted to hospital situations with verification from parties involved or preferably trusting the LORD would be dominate in the situation. In the case of rape, two wrongs don't make a right . Legal action would need to be filed and punitive action against the rapist. It is a complicated issue but often the exceptions are presented as the rule and I believe life of the unborn should be protected.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
We are a nation that can provide life respecting birth control methods , we need to have ways that this becomes the rule not abortion that kills . Education on the ways of respecting oneself, valuing abstinence until marriage and that covenant understanding needs to be promoted, Funds should not be provided with taxpayer money to abortion providers or Planned Parenthood.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
I do not support laws legalizing assisted suicide and euthanasia. Life and death are not areas that should be flippantly decided on. Often situations can change that were not understood at the time decisions were made to end life. I believe that decisions to extend life artificially are different that assisting death.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I am not familiar with all the tax code but I do believe we are taxed way too much, and that many do not pay what they should because they have the ability to get around the common sense of taxes. I believe the tax system needs to be re-vised and become consistent to all citizens. With expenses cut , I believe a balanced budget can be achieved.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I am not familiar with all the line items of the budget but running a home for 40 years .I see the value in a budget and to have a budget balanced. Many things are good but the essentials are necessary. Every citizen is important and their needs are to be addressed.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
I believe that higher education is valuable if the institution teaches what is necessary to further the exploration of specialized knowledge. Right now much higher education does not promote specialized education and skill development but puts opinion into the 'required' material, much not supporting the American constitution. Tax payers should not pay for students to be educated in a way contrary to this agenda, education needs to support the values of America.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Under no circumstances. The government should not be involved in church function.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Mostly match with "C" but I believe the health care industry needs to be re-vised. We need to move away from so much drug therapy and use herbs and health maintenance and/or move into new techniques with light or vibrations . I believe there is much we could adapt for illness prevention . I also believe there are so many ways of healing that we as a general population do not have access to nor know about.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
The government should never require vaccinations. I can appreciate a business owner having some preferences and this should be worked out by employer/employee. I personally do not believe vaccinations provide what has been promoted and that this entire health means should be explored as there are too many 'required' vaccinations that I believe interfere with optimum health
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
All that it can to protect the nation from the evil that is trying to hijack the Nation and our constitutional rights,
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We need to respect and defend our country's border.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We should not allow those who are against America and our constitution into our country. Visitors should be required to obey the laws of the visa. Those coming for persecution from their country should be evaluated with conditions that respect our constitution and be verified . I believe we should have a national language.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
I believe students should have access to quality education.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
There is a government of God that should add framework to the government of man.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I believe identity should not rule but actual genetic science of gender.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I believe this covenant should be more understood by society and the church.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Racism should never be promoted by the government nor assumed that it exist.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in the Word of God, the Bible, and I work at being sanctified by it.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
We have to have a check that the person is whom they say they are.-Everyone voting should have a state issued identification with picture.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I believe we should have laws to check and balance the votes. The electronic system is easily compromised, therefore a hard copy should be a part of the process. I would like to emphasize that I am not for machine voting but if we must have it—then a paper back-up would be required. I believe a verifiable audit trail of every vote and violation of the voter laws should come with extreme penalties .
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I do not believe racism is a threat within our majority society. I do believe forces out to destroy our Nation are creating conflict and wounds with sound bites and media influence to stir up strife within our Nation.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Statement "A" comes closest to my view.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Neutral
I need to understand more about this process to make a firm stand, from what I do understand, much has already been done to improve negative impact on the environment in these processes.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The purpose of government is to support the constitution and to keep enemies, both domestic and foreign from damaging our country and its people .I believe the Constitution and Bill of Rights –housed within it--should be up held and personal freedoms protected for all people by the government. I also believe it needs to hold up the principles that God has ordained so it's individuals/institutions will not venture too far off profitable behavior so not to to inflict damage and a more difficult path to a healthy, abundant life.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I believe foreign policy is mandated in the federal level and that as states, we need to respect what is mandated. If we feel they are not righteous, we as a state need to pursue our options to make changes . My view is that we should politically offer counsel to foreign leadership, and do what we can individually to assist the country from within.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
my personal Facebook page
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I care about the future good of our country. I wanted to run to put common sense into our government policies because I am a mother and a grandmother. I believe policies have been hijacked by people with evil /selfish intent. I believe we can do better than this. I wanted to go Independent because I was not sure all of the points that may be required of me belonging to the Republican party.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I believe the law enforcement officers need to adhere to their policies, righteous and true and that we give them this privilege to protect them when they serve us.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
I do believe that mental/spiritual health issues should be directed but not to take funds from one place and put to another. If the police department starts not needing as much money then it should be reduced.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I believe we do not need any more policies on gun restrictions, I believe the policies need to be looked at to insure the rights of the people as the 2nd amendment provides.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Do we sue car manufacturers for drunk drivers?
