OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

It is the woman's right to choose.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Did not answer

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

End Subsidizing fossil fuel infrastructure,

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Agree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Did not answer

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Medicare for all is my stand on healthcare.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

If there is an Imminent threat to public health and safety, unless the individual has a medical condition in which the vaccine could cause more harm than good.

iVoterGuide Notes:

After the Questionnaire deadline, candidate notified iVoterGuide that the answer should read:
"If there is an imminent threat to public health and safety, unless there are religious or philosophical objections, or the individual has a medical condition in which the vaccine could cause more harm than good."

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Move away from military take overs and actions in countries with large islamic populations. The US must stop trying to control leadership in other countries. Defunding the military industrial complex and stop supplying weapons of war to foreign nations unless it is absolutely necessary.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Disagree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Any and all refugees of violence whose family is in imminent danger, and those who want to start a better life for themselves.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

Charter schools are something I would like more investigation and transparency in. I will prioritize equity in the education system.

iVoterGuide Notes:

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Disagree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Agree

I agree with the above statement because marriage is defined as a religious practice and a sacrament. When it comes to the legalities under our laws then I would say civil unions are what we focus on. Each religious institution has its own right to marry whoever they want. I believe in the separation of church and state as well as religious freedom and in that no religion has the right to enforce their beliefs on any other person of this country or state.

iVoterGuide Notes:

After the Questionnaire deadline, candidate notified iVoterGuide that the intended answer to this survey question should have been "Disagree" and the clarification should read:"DISAGREE: I believe in the separation of church and state as well as religious freedom and in that no religion has the right to enforce their beliefs on any other person of this country or state."

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a spiritual person. My beliefs if I had to explain it would be more closely resemble that of the indigenous peoples of this land which is called turtle island. I believe walking in a good way is a duty we all have. I am of love. And I do my best walk in love and not fear. compassion and kindness are a prioritized practice for me. I believe in balance as a scientist we know that all things strive to go back to its natural state which we call homeostasis. I am one with all this life, this nature - and in such it is my duty to respect it and be grateful for everything that I have because nature doesn't need us we need it.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Agree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Ranked choice voting. I believe in fair and equal ballot access for all parties and independent candidates. I support the Voter Choice Act.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Absolutely, we have more hate groups here in PENNSYLVANIA than any other state. Every person in this country must not feel they are the target of domestic terrorist groups in order for us to have domestic security. We need harsher penalties and more flushing out of these racist or fascist domestic terrorist groups. They are more of a threat on the people of this homeland than any external threat in the United States.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Agree

On basis of historic truths. Any harm that has been done and sanction by this government, must be repaired. Our foundation must be repaired in order to build a stable structure upon it.

iVoterGuide Notes:

After the Questionnaire deadline, candidate notified iVoterGuide that the answer should read:
"Agree: Any harm that has been done and sanction by this government, must be repaired. Our foundation must be repaired in order to build a stable structure upon it."

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

I have been calling for expanded protection of our natural resources. Qualified scientists must be the ones who dictate the necessary protections.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Disagree

I will move to place a moratorium on any new wells in PA and require a 5 year decommissioning of any operating wells. As well all wells must be properly capped and monitored regularly. Fracking is a dangerous process which has harmed both workers and communities. There is no way to stop the methane leakage, therefore there is no way to mitigate the risks to the public and the environment. We must move on an equitable sustainable just transition immediately. https://www.gpofpa.org/fracking
