QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Life of the Mother. Severe Medical Complications / Non-Viable Pregnancy. Rape or Incest.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Agree

Yes. Federal law should be enforced as written, and the Comstock Act is still on the books. At a time when abortion policy has been returned to the states, we shouldn’t allow a loophole where abortion drugs are shipped across state lines in ways that undermine those laws. Enforcing it is about respecting the rule of law, protecting life, and ensuring that states have the ability to uphold the policies their voters support.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Free enterprise and private property rights are the foundation of economic growth and opportunity in this country. When individuals are free to start businesses, invest, and keep what they earn, it drives innovation, creates jobs, and raises the standard of living for everyone. Government’s role should be to protect those rights, not burden them with excessive regulation or taxation.

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Disagree

I disagree. The problem isn’t that Americans are taxed too little, it’s that Washington spends too much. Raising taxes, even on those who can afford it, often slows investment, hurts job creation, and ends up impacting workers the most. The better approach is to lower taxes across the board, rein in spending, and grow the economy so working families can keep more of what they earn and have more opportunity to get ahead.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Washington doesn’t have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem. We cannot continue piling debt onto future generations. The federal government needs to get serious about cutting wasteful spending, prioritizing essential functions, and restoring fiscal discipline. A stronger economy helps, but without real spending restraint, the debt will continue to grow and threaten our long-term stability.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1 conduct a full audit of federal agencies to identify and eliminate duplicative programs and bureaucratic bloat. 2 rein in discretionary spending. 3 crack down on fraud and abuse in major programs, especially in areas like improper payments and pandemic-era spending. 4 push for stronger oversight and accountability so taxpayer dollars are spent efficiently and transparently. 5 Finally, implement a requirement that new spending be offset by cuts elsewhere.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

In a free society, people should not be forced by the government to act against their deeply held moral or religious beliefs. Protecting religious liberty is a fundamental American principle. At the same time, we can respect others and ensure people are treated fairly without compelling individuals or small businesses to violate their conscience.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

To me, it means the government should not establish or favor a particular religion, and people should be free to practice their faith without interference. It was never meant to push religion out of public life, but to protect it from government control. Our country was founded on the principle of religious freedom, and that includes the right of individuals to live out their beliefs openly while ensuring the government remains neutral.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

That raises serious concerns about privacy, government overreach, and how that information could be used. Americans’ medical information should be protected, not tracked in a centralized government database. We can address healthcare costs through transparency, competition, and innovation without compromising individual privacy and personal freedom.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The Chinese Communist Party is one of the greatest strategic threats facing the United States today. From intellectual property theft and cyberattacks to military expansion and economic coercion, their actions directly challenge our security and prosperity. We need a clear, tough-eyed approach that protects American industries, strengthens our supply chains, supports our military, and stands firmly for American interests and values on the world stage.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

The United States’ relationship with Israel is important, and I support maintaining a strong partnership based on shared interests and values. At the same time, my priority is always the American people. Our foreign policy should be guided by what is in the best interest of the United States, security, our economy, and keeping our troops out of unnecessary conflicts. We can be a strong ally to Israel while also being clear that America’s resources and decisions must always put America first.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

I agree that terrorism carried out by radical Islamist groups remains a real threat to our national security. We have to be clear-eyed about that and take it seriously. At the same time, this is not about an entire religion, it’s about extremist groups that distort faith to justify violence. We should remain vigilant, strengthen our intelligence and border security, and do everything necessary to protect the American people while upholding our values.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We should welcome people who respect our laws, share our values, and want to fully embrace becoming Americans. Legal immigration should prioritize individuals who are willing to work hard, contribute to our economy, and be part of our communities. That means a system that rewards merit, skills, and a commitment to assimilation, while also ensuring we have strong border security and an orderly, lawful process.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

Sanctuary city policies undermine the rule of law and make it harder for federal and local law enforcement to work together to keep communities safe. We should be focused on enforcing our immigration laws consistently, securing the border, and ensuring that those who are here illegally are handled through a lawful and orderly process. Protecting public safety and upholding the law should come first.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

Education decisions are best made at the state and local level, closer to parents, teachers, and students, not by bureaucrats in Washington. Returning control to states and communities would allow for more flexibility, innovation, and accountability, while reducing federal overreach. Parents should have a stronger voice in their children’s education, and local communities are better positioned to meet their needs.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

American education should be shaped by American values and priorities, not influenced by foreign governments. Allowing foreign funding, especially from adversarial nations raises serious concerns about influence, transparency, and national security. We should protect our schools and universities from outside interference and ensure they remain accountable to students, parents, and the American people.

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

I believe children should be protected from making permanent, life-altering decisions before they are old enough to fully understand the consequences. Medical interventions in particular should be approached with extreme caution. Parents deserve a role in guiding their children, and we should prioritize support, counseling, and mental health care. This is a sensitive issue, but the focus should always be on protecting children and ensuring their long-term well-being.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I'm Catholic as is my whole family. We are very involved with our church, my wife works there, one child is an alter server, and the other helps with liturgy of the word with the younger children and I'm an usher. Our faith is very important to us and it guides us in our daily decision making.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Requiring a photo ID is a common-sense way to protect the integrity of our elections and ensure that every vote is legitimate. It doesn’t prevent anyone from voting who is eligible, it simply confirms identity, prevents fraud, and helps maintain public confidence in our democratic process. Free and fair elections depend on both accessibility and security.

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Protecting the safety, privacy, and fairness for women and girls is essential. Sports, bathrooms, shelters, and other sex-segregated spaces exist to ensure equity and security. Policies should reflect biological reality while respecting everyone’s dignity, but women and girls should not be forced to compete or share spaces in ways that put them at a disadvantage or at risk.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear energy is particularly important because it produces massive amounts of carbon-free electricity around the clock. Paired with natural gas, nuclear can meet growing demand while keeping electricity reliable and affordable.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

Protecting children from predators online is one of the most important responsibilities of government. Parents, schools, and communities play a key role, but federal and state authorities must have the tools to prevent abuse, hold offenders accountable, and ensure the internet is a safe environment for children to learn and grow.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Focus on keeping guns out of criminals’ hands and enforcing existing laws that don't violate the constitution. Law-abiding Americans should have full rights to own and use firearms responsibly.
