QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.
Strongly Agree
If this definition is not adopted, who will make the decision as to when life begins?
The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.
Strongly Agree
Any life should be saved. A logical argument about this is that world population is declining and depite our feelings about right and wrong or women's needs, if we don't produce enough children there won't be any of our species left.
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Never
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Disagree
The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.
Agree
If an abortion is medically indicated, use of abortion drugs should be allowed.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.
Strongly Disagree
Giving "working families" a tax break is demeaning and provides no incentive. Every family is a "working family". Labels such as these are divisive.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.
Ensure budgets are balanced every year. Limit representatives and senators to 2 terms, eliminate their penions, and prohibit their employment by government contractors for five years after leaving office. Prohibit government debt except in time of war. Eliminate government grants. Eliminate "non-profit" status.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Organized faith-based institutions should have no say in the running of the government except in their members' roles as private citizens. Likewise, the state should have no say in the establishment or operations of faith-based institutions. Faith-based institutions should pay the same taxes as every other institution.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.
Strongly Disagree
Medical care is an individual responsibility. The 10th amendment to the US Constitution prohibits government involvement in anything not enumerated in the Constitution.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. Countries are very interdependent and work best when they provide products that best suit their capabilities. Everyone benefits when we all work together. Tyrants use their countries capabilities as weapons against the rest of the world. We have a long and successful history of helping other countries achieve freedom. Japan, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines are examples.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Israel is a beacon of freedom in the authoritarian and tyrannical middle east. It should be helped.
Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.
Strongly Agree
Recent experiences with the Taliban, Iran, Hamas, ISIS, and the Houthis are examples of how Islamic countries will stop at nothing to spread their oppressive faith.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone should be allowed to immigrate if they pass screening to insure they will not subvert our principles.
I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.
Strongly Disagree
Illegal immigration is breaking our laws. If we tolerate it, we might as well not have laws.
EDUCATION
I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.
Strongly Agree
The 10th amendment prohibits the federal government from engaging in any activities not enumerated by the US Constitution.
Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.
Strongly Agree
No government should fund education; it is a matter for parents. Foreign involvement compounds the problem in that our children will not be inculcated with our culture of individual responsibility and respect for others.
VALUES
Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.
Strongly Agree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Neutral
Marriage is a social matter. Government should have no involvement with it. Polygamy has been practiced for centuries and has little unfavorable consequence.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a person of faith who tries to give glory to God, not to myself, and to love my neighbor. Loving your neighbor does not mean giving them handouts that are demeaning, lower self-worth, and that incentives. I strive to spread my faith among others primarily by my actions. I avoid preaching my faith.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear power.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.
Strongly Disagree
This is the parents' job.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None. Private ownership of guns was allowed from our country's beginnings to permit citizens to protect themselves not only from outlaws but also from government which history has shown to often devolve into tyranny.
