QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I think if the child is not viable and the birth will kill the mother than an abortion would be necessary. Although I am not sure I am comfortable having the government enforce anti-abortion measures. But we do need to change the culture toward life and how valuable life is.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I do not believe it is the governments place to fund private organizations. I also believe private charity is the best way to fund to get people to care about an issue. When Trump was elected in 2016, PP received an entire years worth of funding in one month which proves they do not need public funding. Also funding becomes muddled and even though federal law prohibits these funds being used for abortion, there is no real way to make sure.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Agree

I do support this. Ultimately, if you do not have control of your own body and destiny than you are not truly free. I do not want healthy people who are mentally suffering to take their life. But terminally ill patients should have the right to choose their own fate. They should have the right to try any medical treatment to try and live longer and they have the right to decide if it is their time to meet God.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I would move to abolish the state income tax here in Colorado. I also want to look at lowering and abolishing property taxes as well.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would lower most spending. We need to start with numerous audits of state spending. Cut all waste and privatize as many departments as possible or push more departments back down to the state level. Also, we need to examine where all the money is that is being collected from cannabis taxes. I do not think this money is being spent at all.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

The government should not subsidize college. We are already saddled with enormous college loan debt. This will become a never ending money drain on the tax payers.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I do think a freedom of association is important. People should not have to provide services that violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

The government has no right to shut down any house of worship. It is a violation of the first amendment, which guarantees a right to assembly.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

After the past few years I now do not think vaccinations should be required. A private business could require this as it is their business only if they do not receive government funds.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We should encourage an open and free internet and allow as much knowledge to spread as possible. Openness and wisdom are some of the best ways to fight intolerance like Islamic terrorism. I do not think the war on terrorism was a success at all and we cannot continue policies like that,

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

Personally as a Jew I cannot support the BDS movement. I have empathy for both sides in this conflict and I do not want to see anyone wiped off the map but again I personally do not support the movement.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Agree

I do think we need secure boarders in the US.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I think we need to overhaul the immigration system in the US. It takes too long and too much money to become a citizen. I am open to people coming and working in the country that are not residents here. I think with a secured boarder and a reformed and more open immigration system we could all flourish.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

We need educational freedom and we need it now.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I generally agree with this. I do not think you need to understand this framework to understand liberty and freedom. The importance of the individual is important to teach to people.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Neutral

I would have to look into what non-discrimination laws are proposed. I do not think people should be harmed because of how they identify.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Disagree

I do not have a problem with gay marriage. I would not force churches to perform these marriages. But if the government is going to favor a marriage between a man and a women they cannot exclude consenting adult gay couples. I think however, government should completely stay out of marriage.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is a collectivist way to look at history and ignores the individual. I complete disagree with its assertions and principals. CRT proponents say its about teaching things like slavery to justify it garbage philosophy.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised Jewish although I do not attend temple as much as I should. I do feel like I have a much bigger appreciation for God and my religion now that I am older.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

I have no problem with requiring photo ID to vote.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I would move to allow third parties more oversight of elections. Right now only R and D can oversee elections. I do not like universal mail in ballots. I think you should either request your ballot to your house or vote in person.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is not a treat to domestic security. There are still racist in the US but organizations like the KKK have no power anymore. I think if more minorities were armed there were be no fear of these bigoted people.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Neutral

I am really not sure how I feel about this. I did not agree with this but I respect Maj Toure and he has mad a decent argument for it.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

I think fracking is cleaner than previous methods and should not be banned or heavily regulated.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

If the government is going to exist than it should only exist to preserve the natural rights of it's citizens.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Choose not to answer

I am a Libertarian and support the path that leads to more freedom and liberty for Americans.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No I have not. And I have never visited Epstein's Island.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

The republicans and democrats have continued to fail Americans over and over again. I left the republican party because it did not represent my values. I want to fight to bring more freedom and liberty to my life and yours. I don't want to rule over you. I just want to be left alone. And I want to leave you alone.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Disagree

I understand the extreme pressures police are under but I was ok with qualified immunity being scaled back and I think police unions need to be reformed.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

I don't know that defunding police departments are the answer. I am ok with funding for mental health units. But we need to cut and reduce government spending in other places to pay for this.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I do not think law abiding citizens should have their right to self defense restricted. Armed minorities are harder to oppress. Gun rights are women's rights. Guns are an equalizer.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
