QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Did not answer

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Disagree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

I would need to learn more on this issue but am open to it

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I want to end school property taxes

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Pennsylvania is a very corrupt state/commonwealth. I would fight to end the favor system of hiring friends and family and bloating government, so they have jobs to do. We need to streamline and hire the best candidate for the job not the politicly favored person.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

I believe we should encourage education with tax deductions not free education. All educational expenses should be 100% tax deductible.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Agree

This is difficult for me to understand. I am a business owner and don't understand how any other business owner would turn away a customer for any reason other than they weren't going to pay. A business denying service could be looked at as their right, but do they have the right to deny service to someone because they are, fill in the blank. How we as a society continue to have these prejudices after all these years confuses me.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

never

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

B, we should be working toward government funded healthcare. Those of us that have worked all of our lives shouldn't lose our home because of an illness.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Why has this issue become partisan? I believe a business has the right to determine risk level and protect vulnerable employees and their investment. Mandating vaccinations would fall under that. Government should be looking out for the common good and if health officials believe vaccinations should be required for employment, then I would support them.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Let's do something crazy. Work on fairness to all around the world instead of what is best for our rich citizens.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Agree

Using the poor Palestinians as a pawn in the fight between Israel and those that don't want Israel to exist must end for there to be peace.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Did not answer
