QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Did not answer

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

The freedom to practice one's religion is a fundamental human right, and no individual should be forced to violate their beliefs in order to provide a service. While accommodations can and should be made where possible, ultimately it is up to the individual to decide whether or not they are willing and able to provide a service. The market will self-regulate those who make bad choices.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

There are all sorts of businesses the government shouldn't be involved in, but churches seem like a particularly egregious example. Churches are private organizations that exist to promote a particular set of religious beliefs, and the government has no business meddling in their affairs. Doing so would violate the separation of church and state, and it would open up all sorts of potential problems. The government should stay out of churches, and let them operate free from interference.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The country needs to reduce its dependence on imported oil. One way to do this is by increasing the use of domestic sources of energy . It's also good to note that Saudi Arabia has been increasingly associated with terrorism in recent years. This is partly due to the fact that the kingdom has been a primary source of funding for terrorist groups. Perhaps distancing ourselves from them would be a good idea.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Did not answer

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Did not answer

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I would support a flat tax or a fair tax. A fair tax would remove the need for the IRS and the complexity of our tax code. Under a fair tax, everyone would pay the same percentage of their income in taxes. This would be a more efficient and fairer way to collect taxes.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

There is a lot of waste in the government budget, and it's time to start cutting it out. starting with unnecessary programs like studying the sexual habits of birds on cocaine. The U.N. is another area where we could save some money by cutting funding. It is estimated that the United States spends over $50 billion a year on foreign aid. A large portion of this goes to countries that are hostile to the United States or don't need the money. Rand Paul has proposed cutting off all foreign aid, which would save billions of dollars. I do not disagree

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Neutral

The education system is in need of a major overhaul. The way it is currently set up does not adequately prepare students for the real world. There are too many standardized tests and not enough critical thinking skills being taught. Students need to be taught how to think for themselves and how to solve problems. They also need to be given more opportunities to explore their interests. We can't have a conversation about fixing the education system until we address the root of the problem.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

There is no question that the United States needs to do more to secure its southern border. The flow of illegal immigrants, drugs, and human trafficking has created a major security problem that must be addressed. The use of physical barriers, improved technology, and increased manpower are all necessary components of an effective border security strategy. In addition, the US must work closely with Mexico and other countries in the region to address the underlying causes of illegal immigration.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

we are a nation of immigrants, legal immigration is good for our country. we should welcome people who come here legally to work and live. we should also enforce our laws against illegal immigration. Follow the rules and come here the right way and American tradition says you are welcome. The issue is those who do not play by the rules.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Disagree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The 2nd amendment is clear. The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."- Ben Franklin End of story

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Did not answer

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

no

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

For my district I believe better internet and lower taxes would help a great deal. We need more opportunity in modern workforce growth. Our current leaders seem convinced that the best we can do is create low wage service industry jobs . I think the focus should not be on bringing in hotels and restaurants to bring revenue to the local government. It should be bringing in tech jobs to give more opportunity to the people of this district.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Neutral

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Neutral

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Neutral

The Government has no business in defining marriage in any way. That is between the couple and their God/Church or lack lack thereof

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Did not answer

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Did not answer

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Did not answer

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
