What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

In the founding of our great Republic the church was the center of the community. The Constitution designed the "separation of church and state" to prevent individuals from forcing their religion on others. It was not intended to stop people from crafting public policy based on their religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I support medical freedoms. No person should be forced to receive a COVID shot. Further, I am very concerned with unconstitutional medical mandates being thrust upon American citizens, with the threat of loss of education and/or job, ultimately impeding on peoples rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. This heavy-handed tactic by the progressive left is unconstitutional and un-American.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Healthcare has always been at the forefront of the political debate. I believe in patient centered healthcare that focuses in on the patient’s individual needs. A free-market healthcare system gives consumers the opportunity to choose the direction of their care. I will advocate for policies that will support the patient-physician relationship, foster competition, and keep healthcare costs down.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

I adhere to an America First policy. As a world super power, we should be available to partner with other nations to assist countries in need on a humanitarian level. Our military involvement in foreign lands should be directly tied to advancing our country's best interest and protecting our national security.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

One of our most important allies in the Middle East is Israel. The partnership we have with the State of Israel is critical to our national security and our economy. We must stand with Israel and defend the Jewish people’s right to live a peaceful existence in their homeland. I pledge to fight those in the congress who seek to dismantle the important bond between our two nations.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The ISIS campaign is one of unimaginable violence, genocide and death carried out in the name of religion. Defeating radical Islamic terrorism needs to be one of our highest priorities to protect national security. We need to work with international partners to financially cut off these groups, discredit its ideological narrative, and use intelligence and cyberwarfare to aggressively disable its efforts.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigration has been one of the major building blocks of our nation, my wife being a first generation American. The real question is how can the United States allow immigration in a way that protects our nation's sovereignty, respects the law of the land and is beneficial for all Americans? I strongly believe in patriotic assimilation and that becoming a citizen means becoming an American. We cannot compromise national security or safety by allowing open and porous borders. We need to enforce our immigration laws and be mindful that individuals who enter our country illegally should not be rewarded with legal status and benefits.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

Disagree

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Require all voters in federal elections to provide photo identification. Authorize state Board of Election departments to verify citizenship of registered voters through federal Social Security and Department of Homeland Security databases. Amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to give states the ability to strike people from the voter rolls who have not voted in two consecutive federal elections. This would happen after they were given ample written notice of said law.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am the son of Navy veterans and the only Republican candidate in this primary that lives in our district. I am doing this because we’re a regular working-class family fed up by the words and empty promises of career politicians. Let me be clear…I’m NOT a politician. My wife Christine is a registered nurse and I am an economic developer. I work with small businesses to help them grow and create jobs. My work has led to the creation of over 10k jobs and hundreds of millions in investments to Long Island communities. My campaign is all about putting FAMILIES FIRST. Biden’s America Last policies are crushing Suffolk County families and businesses. But my America First Plan will be: • Cut taxes & wasteful spending • Stop the woke & CRT indoctrination. • End the unconstitutional mandates. • Defend the 2nd amendment. • Protect the unborn. • Preserve Social Security & Medicare for seniors • Restructure the VA to provide reliable health care for our veterans. • Support our police and give them the funding they need. • And Stop the illegal crashing of our borders. I hate political pawns and I will NEVER cave to party bosses or special interests. I want to take territory back from those who are destroying our county. But I can’t do it without you. Please come out and vote for me on Tuesday, August 23rd, and let’s send a message to Washington that We the People have had enough. God bless you and God bless America.
