QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Anytime per request of the patient.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

The woman, along with the physician should come to that decision as to what is best for her, the patient.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Agree

Having had to experience the death of my spouse, as painful as it was, he signed the papers requesting to not administer any life support or life-sustaining techniques. We must adhere to the patient's desires, not ours.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Neutral

A person's religious belief should not be challenged unless it involves one fulfilling the Hippocratic Oath or otherwise.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

The circumstance of closing a church would be if there was an illegal activity and/or personal gain and deception.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The US should tighten up on our country's security by performing customs searches to alleviate transporting of weapons and reducing the sale of weapons to random individuals anywhere.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Agree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

A

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

If there is a breakout, such as COVID-19, there should be required vaccinations for the good of everyone.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The tax code should be cut on several issues, such as food, water, and sewage. Alabama is one of the few states that tax its citizens for everything. Therefore, one of the changes that should be made is cutting taxes on food.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would reduce the interest rate and state-profit prisons.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Agree

Furthermore, the lottery would help subsidize the cost of college up to a bachelor's degree.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Neutral

Notwithstanding that we need security on our borders, the US is a sanctuary for many people fleeing oppression.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Everyone should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. fleeing oppression.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Neutral

Private schools have been around for many years and so has home-schooling. Nevertheless, the government should not pay for these schools to exist. These schools should be privately funded by those who wish to indulge in that system; however, because the government is the authority of the land, it has the right to ensure things are carried out in an orderly and righteously manner.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

However, it is up to the legislative body to ensure that the police officers adhere to THEIR oath and insist their fellow officers abide by the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics to prevent misconduct.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

Both departments need the funds. There should not be redirecting funds to one or the other.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

1. There should be a law in place that prohibits public gun carry. We are not in the "Old Wild West." This is an open door for uncontended warfare that we do not need or deserve. 2. Upon purchasing guns, the merchant should have in place a requirement list of purchase posted where everyone can see it and read it. 3. This probably should have been first; nevertheless, keep your arms locked away until there is a need to use them, such as for war or for the protection of one's home.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Neutral

We can't use this method to obtain retribution because we don't know where the individual purchased the gun. Besides, it's our freedom to purchase or not to purchase.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The general purpose of government is to protect life and property, keep law and order, and ensure justice for the people.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

1819, Al.com, CNN, Al Sharpton of MSNBC

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am an individual who loves people of all ethnic groups. I hate to see people hurting and in despair. I am the Democratic nominee who will fight against crime, recidivism, and injustice and fight for equality, fairness, and truth. My legislative priorities are for the people of our state not for selfish and inconsiderate gain.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Neutral

Although we have our views on things, such as scripture, it remains a fact that we cannot usurp authority on anyone. We should practice living and let live.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Agree

it's important for the citizens to accept the truth of how people are. Racism is not going away but telling the truth in hopes that we will learn from the atrocities of racism to not repeat them.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God. I believe His word is true. He is my confidant and friend. I practice the "Golden Rule" faithfully. I believe in prayer and the " Five-Fold Ministry of the Gospel."

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Ordinarily, I would agree, but because of the fraudulence of past elections, a photo identification would be wise to present.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

1. An individual should be allowed to choose a candidate based on their preference regardless of the party affiliation and not be penalized for their choice by switching the person's preferential party affiliation to another party without consent. 2. The polls should provide water for those who stand in lines, for long periods, of time waiting to cast their vote. 3. There should not be armed guards at polling sites unless there stands an expected risk of danger. 4. No one should handle the ballots unless appointed by Home Security.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes, racism is a threat to domestic security in the U.S. because of the fascist teachings and the lack of love for mankind.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Disagree

Reparations should be given to those who built the country, those of African Descent, the slaves, and their offspring. There still remains disparity, disillusionment, inequality, and discord, with which those of African Descent experiment on a daily basis.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

B

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

If done right, and in which has been done correctly, there should not be a fear of earthquakes or chemical spills.
