QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Choose not to answer
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Choose not to answer
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Section 35 of the Alabama State Constitution states that "That the sole object and only legitimate end of government is to protect the citizens in the enjoyment of life, liberty, and property, and when the government assumes other functions, it is usurpation and oppression." Closing churches is not something that government can do unless it affects the citizens enjoyment of life, liberty, and property.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Choose not to answer
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Arguments revolving around “who pays” for healthcare have left government in an unending gridlock. One important neglected assertion is that healthcare reform and health insurance reform are two separate matters. Due to that fact, the Libertarian Party's repair process revolves around reforming healthcare into a more consumer driven industry.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
The vaccinations that individuals receive or not should be up to the individuals, their health care provider, and applicable responsible party.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Any and all unnecessary taxes should be removed to reduce the burden on the citizens to allow them to keep the fruits of their labor. The Alabama people are already dealing with heightened inflation caused by years of government overspending on the federal, state and local levels. It is time to stop spending the money of hard-working people and look for more voluntary methods to accomplish things.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Is government spending on schools and roads a good thing? It depends. Are local people making those decisions that local people can get the benefit? Or are people from Montogomery, bureaucrats, deciding what local people get by taking taxpayer money and making sure no local people benefit locally. If that is the case, I am for cutting any and all such government spending. If we actually had local people, elected by local people, that are responsible for local people, to make those decisions, then I encourage that kind of cooperative and voluntary money spending.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Choose not to answer
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Choose not to answer
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
The more competition that is in the school system the better for our teachers, students, and state. The decision to where your child goes to school should not be up to Montgomery Bureaucrats that forces your child to go to a certain school based on jerrymandered districts. You should be allowed to take your child where the child will grow most optimally.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Disagree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
All unconstitutional gun laws should be nullified.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Disagree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Section 35 of the Alabama State Constitution says it best: that the sole object and only legitimate end of government is to protect the citizen in the enjoyment of life, liberty, and property, and when the government assumes other functions it is usurpation and oppression.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Moderate
On the linear scale, most Libertarians will look moderate. I am pro-freedom, pro-individual rights, pro-minimal government.

VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Neutral
Judeo-Christian values have some characteristics that can support a limited government system, which ultimately boil down to similarities to the Non-Aggression Principle as a more proper framework for limited government. The Non-Aggression Principle states that the initiation of force can't be used to achieve political or social goals. If one individual cannot forcibly take something from another or force them to do something the individual did not agree to, neither can your government.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Remove all restrictive ballot access and election laws that are targeted at preventing third party candidates from being on the ballot. This state needs more competition to get actual people in office that care about keeping the Alabama people free.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
