OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
If it would be unethical to birth a baby. Many reasons, both criminal and medical.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Government should not spend taxpayer money for a provider that is despised by other taxpayers
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Agree
My body, my choice
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Remove anything about personal income tax. It is too confusing for the layperson to understand.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Must reduce corporate welfare
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Agree
Texas has a Constutional obligation to provide public schools, however, it does not need taxpayer funding to accomplish this. I propose a different source of funding for public schools through college. Follow my campaign to learn more
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
I do not agree with this statement. Just as customers can patronize a different individual or business, they can refuse service too. Goverments must accomodate
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Only if the building is condemned or in the event of an immediate emergency
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. I want other sources of funding rather than "taxpayer"
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
NONE.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Stop funding it.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Choose not to answer
This is beyond the scope of my desired position
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Provide funding and supplies to the border states and let those citizens decide what the actions should be.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Any non-criminal that is sponsored, fiancee, spouse, relative, worker, student, etc. under the premise that they will not become a burden to social programs such as welfare.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I disagree that "Judeo-Christian" is the correct term, but a framework of morality does exist. It is within ALL of us. Right now, our government is NOT limited, but my vision is to return to Constitutiional limits.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Gender identity, by it's very nature, is whatever fits the situation. A man can identify as a woman for purposes of a preferred (usually cleaner) bathroom, but identify as a man later for another purpose.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
STFU!
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe we are all spiritual beings from The Creator, here on earth to learn lessons, to have experiences, and to grow our consciousness. Everybody is valued and equal, whether they believe it or not.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Agree
They can, but it requires a lot of documents, such as birth certificates, proof of residency, etc.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
More accessible voting locations and times
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. Racism is spurred on by the media. Change the media, it will change the percieved threat
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
No reparations, but equal opportunities, regardless of race
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. (I was only given 2 crappy choices). Government/ EPA should not interfere
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
Whatever the best, least invasive method is
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Government is to support the citizens. Defend citizens from invaders including corporations, media, & other attackers. Provide a judicial/courts system.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Lean Conservative
I think everybody has the natural, God given right to express themselves however the feel is best, provided it does not interfere with someone else. A free market capitalism economy will be beneficial for all.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Liberty or N.O.T.A. podcast #10
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I propose to eliminate property taxes (60+ taxes) to be replaced by 7% VAT (consumption tax) 83 (R) HB3742 on my FB page https://capitol.texas.gov/tlodocs/83R/billtext/html/HB03742I.htm?fbclid=IwAR3FETe-PJBc5yKE6NZMGYzJ8xZ8j0NmKmpwXH4DDnEfQinZiau3_ZAy4HQ I propose amending the Constution to allow casinos, which revenues will eventually replace the 7% tax
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
Any conduct beyond departmental policy will not be protected. Departmental policies should be reviewed and updated frequently
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
Police departments need adequate funding, but not so much that they are mitilarized. Funding for mental health and community programs should come from charities and churches
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Dealers and manufactures should only be sued for defects, not misuse.
