QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

All as a Pro Reproductive Candidate this is a personal health issue and not a government issue. EXPAND ACCESS TO ABORTION, GUARANTEE MEDICALLY ACCURATE ABORTION CARE, STOP ANTI-ABORTION HARASSMENT AND TERRORISM.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

If Roe v. Wade is overturned by the US Supreme Court, how far are you willing to go to roll back North Carolina's statutory abortion law that allows abortion up to 20 weeks?

I would not support any roll back

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Agree

Would you support a limitation on chemical abortion that protects women from taking abortion pills without the care and supervision of a qualified physician?

No

ECONOMY

The government should do more to close the gap between the working class and the wealthy.

Agree

Fairness, fair share, justice, equal opportunity, level playing field,

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Require disclosure of tax giveaways, Eliminate unfair tax giveaways, Raise rates on the rich, Crack down on tax evasion by the rich, Sunset tax expenditures, Disclose corporate taxes, Raise the estate tax.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Agree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under a Medical Emergency

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

Separation of Church and State is very important so that no one group controls Government.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Health My VALUES: Health, health security, safety, protection, quality of life My VISION: Every American should be able to get the health care they need, when they need it, at a price they can afford. But for years, insurance companies charged too much, their policies were full of holes, and coverage was easily denied or revoked. The Affordable Care Act changed that, providing families with a new and greater measure of health security. There remains much to be done: (1) guarantee coverage to every American as a matter of right; (2) encourage healthy behavior and protect others from unhealthy behaviors; and (3) allow people to make their own health care choices.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I feel after COVID-19 we learned that your rights to have a vaccination is your own medical issues and the government should not have the power to mandate.

EDUCATION

States should allow parents to use the Opportunity Scholarship Program to fund private school for their children.

Strongly Disagree

In what situations does a parent not have the right to know what their child is being taught in public school?

All Public School should have a State Approved Curriculum

When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?

Never

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Disagree
