Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Whenever the woman feel it's necessary

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Tax dollars should not go to this. Fund it from your own pocket if you feel strongly about helping the less fortunate.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

If they're fomenting eminent violence upon someone or a group then sure. Otherwise, no. If they lobby government they should be taxed.


NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Quit telling itself that it's an actual threat. The FBI is a much bigger threat to life and liberty than ISIS.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. Private employers, fine. Schools...should not be mandatory. Governments absolutely not.


ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

We've got to lower property taxes for homeowners, lower the barriers to entry for SMBs and stop handing subsidies to giant corporations.

Most/all of it.

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Again, the threat from within is far greater than the threat from outsiders.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone willing to abide by the golden rule - treat others as they'd like to be treated. The government shouldn't be telling me who I can hire. We need workers, it doesn't matter where they were born.


CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

One of the worst abuses of the "justice" system I've ever heard of is Qualified Immunity. Right up there with civil asset forfeiture.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Nobody can run your life better than you. It's indignant to believe that someone can run your life better than you, and immoral to believe that you know better than anyone else how to run theirs.

The justice system should not discriminate against any human for things beyond their control. Private business is another matter.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

The fact that african americans weren't even allowd to vote or own property for the first half of this nation's existence? That said the CRT boogeyman is not the enemy. It's a farce. It has worked for a long time. The registrars are good at figuring out who real people are, and I fear that a photo ID mandate will be used to institute a national ID card.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Seems like a lot of the terrorism in recent years has been perpetrated by racists, e.g. Buffalo, El Paso, Charleston, just of the top of my head... So evidently yeah.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Nah, all kinds of people are generationally poor for all kinds of reasons. Government should butt out, and when the people have better control over their finances there will be more for the private charities who should step in.


ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Get rid of limited liability. If BP pollutes the entire coastline they shouldn't be capped at a month's worth of profits. The people affected should be given due compensation. Same for any company that's polluting groundwater, air or anything else. Abolish the EPA and quit letting government shield them from the true liability of their actions.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

But only if oil is completely unsubsidized. If it can't stand on its own then it shouldn't exist.
