There’s a number of ways to finance higher education but there has to be better system for anyone being left with a mountain of debt to obtain a degree. Huge debt right out of college defeats the larger picture of becoming a productive contributing citizen in society.

What is the Opportunity Scholarship Program? How is it funded? I am not in favor of the use of public tax payers funding private school cost for parents who choose to send their children to private schools.

I have a combined 57 years serving the people our community. I believe in making decisions that puts the welfare and concerns of the people before politics.

I am a person willing to work with anyone whose purpose is to make life better for our people. We have lots of work to do to make the ninth largest state in America a better place for all people. We are seeing the results of over a decade of over-all failure both of our education system and the disgraceful failure to pass Medicaid Expansion just to name two.
