Graduate Grand Valley State with teaching certificate.Have farmed my entire adult life and currently my wife(of 41 years) Dawn and I own and operate a family farm with my two sons and their families. I am a member and past president of All Saints Lutheran Church. I was on the Vevay Township Board and Township Supervisor for more than 20 years. Two years ago I narrowly lost the election for the 67th House Seat to the 2 term incumbent. I serve on the local Chamber of Commerce Board and member of the Mason Optimist Club among other civc positions.

All Saints Lutheran Church, Mason Optimist Club, Ingham County Republican Party, Thrivent Lutheran Services, Habitat for Humanity.
