American civics education should emphasize our nation's founding principles of liberty and equality.

I taught American Government/ Civics. I understand the importance of students studying the US Constitution. It’s at the core of American Citizens learning the importance of defending our Constitution and ultimately our liberties and rights.
Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.

I believe Sex Education should be taught in the middle school as a Health Education Course, not in any other course. SEL can be disguised as a course in Marxism, so I am not a proponent as a course.
The loss of local control in education is too high a price to pay in exchange for federal dollars.

Parents are ultimately responsible for teaching sex education. A health class in grade 6 would be an appropriate age to teach children.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I take a proactive stance. I do not wait for a long political process that takes years in the making to resolve problems. The situation in our public schools is dire and the school board allowed it under their watch.
2ND AMENDMENT
Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.
