QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Agree
Abortion Providers and Planned Parenthood should not be resources for instruction but definitely resources for services. It is a known fact that 97% of the services provided by Planned Parenthood are for overall healthcare and prevention for under-served communities. Those services would be a huge benefit for our approximately 5,094 homeless students attending Broward County Public Schools seeking an education.
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Neutral
I am not a scientist or doctor, therefore, I do not feel qualified to answer this question.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
School districts should be able to use taxpayer money for lobbying the state legislature.
Agree
School Districts have to use the resources available to lobby on behalf of our children to ensure they are providing the best education possible.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
Yes, I think we should fund our children's education through college.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.
Strongly Agree
Free speech is for everyone, period.
School districts should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Schools are institutions of education, not discrimination. We have to find ways to cohabitate in education spaces without discrimination of any kind.
Students should not be allowed to pray in school.
Disagree
How can we stop it or police it? Just like we cannot stop or police those who do not believe in prayer. It has always boggled my mind when there is a tragedy, the first thing we do as a nation is Pray!
