QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support laws which allow a municipality to enact a Sanctuary City for the Unborn ordinance.
Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Government should not discriminate against individuals, organizations, or business owners who affirm marriage as between one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
ECONOMY
Private development is a legitimate justification for taxpayer-funded incentives such as property tax abatements and taxpayer-backed loans.
Disagree
It is the responsibility of city government to provide subsidized housing at taxpayer expense.
Disagree
Property taxes should be abolished.
Neutral
I support using taxpayer funds to lobby the state legislature and/or U.S. Congress.
Disagree
IMMIGRATION
City officials should have the right to proclaim their city a sanctuary city for illegal aliens.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
Mental health has become a complex and subjective issue. As a society, we must identify those with genuine need and thru already funded programs or insurance, refer individuals to those resources. Our civilization exists in spite of harsher and more egregious circumstances in history. Redirecting funding from public safety creates a more significant problem for the public at large. Law Enforcement officers deal with fluid situations.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The 2nd Amendment says it's a right not to be infringed upon by the Constitution. We must ensure full compliance with laws enacted by legislature. We should additionally ensure that only citizens are in possession of firearms and eliminate unlawful discharge within City limits outside of gun ranges or in self defense. We as citizens must be responsible for our right. Red flag laws unfortunately allow for removal of rights which may originate from those with vindictive or nefarious claims. We see this in current judicial process of protective orders both in family and criminal courts. Case (OSCN.net) PO-2008-1540 is a prime example where the court was negligent in due process, but stripped rights. You'll see no hearing on the PO occurred, and no conviction, but the court lazily and egregiously stripped my own rights for nearly 2 years at the advantage of a false accuser. We've seen in courts where POs are vindictively filed to gain legal advantage to strip rights based on baseless accusations only. Temporary to a court can be a subjective term. Congress legitimately is the only authority regarding the Constitution. Since East Tulsa consistently has an issue with sporadic gunfire in neighborhoods. The question regarding 2A is a hot button issue, but Timothy McVeigh showed all of us without the use of a gun how motivated a person with intent can be when irrational and inhuman processes enter the mind. Most human beings with rational thought processes would hope to never have to use a gun against another human being. This country was founded and its volunteer armies were created by the armed citizens. Technological advancement of weaponry thru the last 246 years does not circumvent that right. Respect for our neighbor and the rights of others has been the philosophical change.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Disagree
Currently with the exorbitant number of grow facilities versus medicinal applications, we far exceed what the law intended. Testing, and money laundering are currently issues of rumor of the current industry. We need to protect citizens with regulation of this industry from dangerous grows.
All official open meetings should be live streamed, recorded, and have transcripts available online for public access.
Agree
I think there should be a digital record for citizens to reference in holding their elected representatives accoutable. Without it, plausible deniability, and flat lies allow for debate of intent or language.
Any emergency executive order (EO) should be subject to review and override by the city council in a special meeting called no later than 14 days following issue of the EO.
Agree
EEOs should have override authority by the Council. The opinion of one, may not be the view of 9 representing their respective Districts. EEOs imply a unilateral interpretation without check and balance.
LOCAL
Please list up to six issues or projects that you think need the most attention, in priority order.
Public safety Economic development in East Tulsa District/Community unity Infrastructure Code Enforcement- business and residetial
I support annual financial audits of every city department by an independent, third party auditor.
Strongly Agree
Eliminates waste, mismanagement, and corruption of funds, and verifies genuine need.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Our government is here to serve the people via free, fair, and secure elections. It has significance in that we the people choose who will represent us, and determine the laws within the framework of the Constitution. City Charters should not contradict or infringe upon the Oklahoma or United States Constitution. The government should not infringe on rights without due process, and should always protect personal liberty. Since civilization has evolved through technology, infrastructure, and economy, governments should be transparent about public funds and immune to corruption of the public trust. Our laws must be enforced equally, regardless of public standing.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
Regardless of personal views, whether social or otherwise, ALL citizens deserve equal treatment under the law.
I voted in these primaries and general elections:
Choose not to answer
Exercise of vote is an individual right of citizens, not an obligation or law. It genuinely is not anyone's business how often or how little an individual citizen votes. As long as candidates meet requirements for filing, this shouldn't be a concern for anyone.
Candidates and officeholders should be required to disclose all business investments and real estate, whether in the city or in an area currently proposed for annexation.
Strongly Agree
It would openly provide citizens with possible conflicts of interest.
Please list your business investments and/or real estate, whether within the city or in an area currently proposed for annexation.
Primary residence is my only real estate holding, and I hold no business interests.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to immigration and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I believe our country was founded on traditional values. I believe in our Constitution, and that we should treat each other equally under the laws.
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

VALUES
Individuals should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on their "gender identity."
Strongly Disagree
While I respect an individual right to live their life as they see fit, the public sphere becomes an entirely different arena versus private. It seeks to impose and demand beliefs not universally shared in the public realm.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in God, and that he gives each of us the free will to accept or reject Him. Mark 12:17 tells us to render to Caesar that which is his, and unto God which is his. To me this means I need to follow man's laws unless they contradict God's.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Each of us is here in spite of man's selfish transgressions against one another in history. Keeping our youth regardless of lineage in a constant state of victimization, or the idea that they are destined or inclined towards failure based on that idea is absolutely destructive. We must identify failures, and work to correct them as humans, but we cannot set the table for future generations to progress towards equality by claiming to be a victim of our neighbor unjustifiably.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
We need to be able to definitively identify who we say we are when we attempt to exercise our right. Without legitimate identification, it opens voter rolls to corruption.
All filings by candidates for municipal office, including ballot application and campaign finance reports, should be available for public online access on the city website within 24 hours of filing deadline.
Agree
Ballot measures which include bond issues should fully disclose both the potential tax rate increase and actual monetary increase for the average single family residence.
Strongly Agree
This would certainly give the citizens better context and transparency.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
It is the responsibility of taxpayers via city government to subsidize green initiatives, including electric vehicle charging stations and procuring solar and wind-generated electricity.
Strongly Disagree
Unfortunately the technologies aren't developed enough to make it affordable as of yet. Federal grants should be the first attempt at source funding. Additionally, investment of taxpayer funds that benefit only a select few who can afford it alienates those who can't.
