QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Life begins at conception and I do not believe that abortion should be allowed in any circumstance.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that the tax payer should not fund abortions in any way. It’s why, on March 22, 2022 of this year, unlike my opponent, I voted AGAINST Medicaid expansion, aka, Obamacare, aka, the Affordable Care Act, which would include government funded abortions AND gender re-assignment surgeries.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Churches should never be closed under any circumstances. In the state of Kansas, we passed legislation this year protecting, yet again, the right to assemble.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The first thing we should do is stop acting like we are offended by the truth. There IS A threat of Islamic terrorism and we must understand that as truth. Islam is a religion of hate. I believe that with the rise of the invasion on the southern border and the refugees we've been taking in as well as bringing in people to the middle of our country to "work"....we are allowing a Trojan Horse into the heartland of the United States and it's only a matter of time before jihad is waged on Americans for our Christian beliefs. We must have courage to be able to stand up to this and call out Radical islam for what it is...radical and dangerous.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

D. Government was never formed to be a welfare system to take from the haves and give to the have not‘s...as a matter of fact that was meant to be the churches job. The church was meant to help the orphan and the widow not the government. Government was meant to protect them now they allow assistance in suicide in nursing homes and the killing of babies with abortions. And in between they steal the money from all the taxpayers who work hard therefore making people not want to work so that they only solely depend upon the government. We have gone so far from the true form of Liberty. But “C” is the Politically correct answer.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

The constitution protects PERSONAL LIBERTY and a person should never be forced to get vaccines or medical procedures of ANY type.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I do not believe that the rich should be taxed more just because they are rich. They wealthy are those that have businesses and CREATE jobs for people to be able to make a living. I do NOT believe in the death tax or inheritance tax. I also believe that we shouldn't have to pay taxes on vehicles or boats, or ATVS, that we've already paid for when we tagged our vehicles. In Kansas, that shows up to be taxed on our property tax statement. That's double dipping and is wrong. There is a proposed "step up basis" in the federal tax code that would be detrimental to generational farmers/ranchers and we must insure that that is not passed. People should be incentivized to work and create wealth, not penalized for it from the government...state or federal.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

We need to stop being the watch dog of the world and stop getting involved in all of these foreign affairs. We do not need to be spending billions on foreign aid while our southern border and our own country is being invaded. Also, we need to stop funding planned parenthood, we need to stop funding gender reassignment surgeries for children and prisoners or ANYONE else for that matter. We also need to stop funding abortions. There is so much pork being funded by the government at all levels. As a Republican myself, I can say from first hand experience as a budget committee person, that the republicans have become just as bad as the democrats in terms of excess spending. I voted "no" on both annual budgets.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Secondary education is a privilege, it’s not a right.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

This is a Trojan horse. We are allowing not just Mexican people to cross the border, but aliens from ALL different counties into the United States that may or may not have the best interests of the US in mind. Also, I am an "American First" statesman. We cannot continue to allow benefits, services, and tax money to flow to illegals while the people in our own country are not taken care of first. The southern border is at CRISIS levels.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I do believe there are circumstances that refugees should be allowed into the US. If they or their family has helped the US in a war, i.e., the Afghan war as a spy, analyst or inside agent, they should be allowed to come to this country. I think this process should be VERY stringent.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

NONE. "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" Law abiding citizens not convicted of any crimes should be protected under the constitution. PERIOD.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Government exists to protect the LIBERTY of it's citizens and to provide a FRAMEWORK so we don't have anarchy. I believe in LIMITED government and states rights. (10h amendment)

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I jokingly tell people that "I'm to the right of right!"

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://rumble.com/vpz39u-kansas-rep.-tatum-lee-this-is-about-one-thing-control..html

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

no.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am a "LIBERTY Legislator" I believe in America First policies. I believe that we live in the greatest country on the earth and that we are blessed by GOD to live here and that as such, we need to be fighting for our freedom. I believe in protecting Health freedom, having NO mandates for masks or vaccines, protecting election integrity and making sure the constitution is protecting at both the state and federal level. The 2nd amendment is very important to me. Also, I ran for this seat initially because my grandpa was in a nursing home, locked away from family and because of "federal funding CMS" issues, was being denied his constitutional right to LIFE, LIBERTY, and HAPPINESS. I believe as a strong conservative that if we say we protect LIFE...we protect LIFE from BIRTH to DEATH. COVID and this Plandemic has been about control. It's time the patriots of this country, stand up, having courage and a stiff backbone, and defend what others before us have died to give us....LIBERTY.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Our country was founded by men who feared and adored the Divine. God fearing, Jesus seeking, & Holy Spirit led men who were willing to lay their lives down for what God had called them to. FIGHT FOR LIBERTY!

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

He created them male and female, and he blessed them and called them “human.” Genesis 5:2

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

With the erosion of marriage and family, we have seen our country slide into a complete moral demise. The first step towards this demise was taking GOD out of schools and public places.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Race is being used a driver between people. Saul Alinsky's book, "Rules for Radicals" talks about taking over our country without firing a shot. Though our country has had periods in history where racial has been a problem, I do not believe it is now. I believe it's being used to "bait" division between each other to tear our country apart from the inside.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God the Father and Jesus Christ His only begotten son as my savior. Holy Spirit is my best friend and I daily need forgiveness and communion with Him. My walk with Jesus is what defines my life. I am in politics for such a time as this because God has called me in this season to stand tall and fight for Liberty. We need to ask for forgiveness in this country and repent and ask God to heal our land. The Government is on the Lord's shoulders, He will get glory through the battles I fight in His names sake.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I sit on the election committee and I have seen evidence of voter fraud in Kansas. I believe we need to "vote like the amish". If we have to make Election Day a holiday, we should do that. We need election day to be 1 day, 1 vote, paper ballots, hand counting, NO MACHINES at all. There is a huge problem with electronic poll books and the machines being able to be hacked.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racisom is a matter of the heart. I do not believe it's a threat to domestic security. I believe that race is being used to divide people simply for the sake of a political narrative.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

I agree with A. As a farmer and rancher, we are the first line of defense for conservation. Stricter laws create more cost and government red tape. I do believe God has called us to be good stewards of the land, but He's also given us our resources as a blessing to live, i.e. coal, natural gas, oil, etc.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

I support the oil and gas industry and the rights of private property rights owners 100%
