RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe that abortion should be allowed for rape, incest, and the health of the mother is at risk.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Agree
Abortion providers have the ability to raise their own funds by their own means.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
I do not support aid in dying laws. I believe that life is a gift and should not be wasted.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I am not sufficiently educated in our current tax code to offer an informed decision on this question.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
If the goal is simply to balance the budget, then reducing the allowable spend in every sector to within our financial means would do the trick. This question really should ask what spending would I potentially start, stop or continue during the budgeting process and why? The answer to THAT question depends on where the spending is currently occurring and why. Is every dollar spent being used for maximum potential? Is the spend generating the desired result? Is it still viable, sustainable and impactful?
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
No, Taxpayer-funded college is not fair to people who 1) paid their own way through college, 2) never went to college, or 3) attended a trade school.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Requiring business to provide services even if it violates moral and religious beliefs is a violation of the first amendment. For reference on this issue review Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission. The Supreme Court has said that the constitution protects people that do not want to violate moral and/or religious beliefs.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
The government, through public health departments, has a duty to protect and keep the people safe. However, if this action violates a person's first amendment right to freely practice their religion. That action is unconstitutional.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Employers should not be able to dictate vaccination requirements. The government should be allowed to control vaccinations of the active duty of military personnel unless religious exemptions apply. K-12 schools have been able to require vaccination for things like Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Tetanus, etc. for years. If the question is geared toward COVID-19, applying the vaccination precedence in schools may be a future state requirement; however, to do so at this juncture is irresponsible. So much is unknown about the long-term effect of the vaccine, and people should be allowed to choose what is best for themselves and their children until more scientific evidence is known and tested.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
This is a question for federal candidates. FBI.Gov defines International Terrorism as "Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups who are inspired by, or associated with, designated foreign terrorist organizations or nations (state-sponsored)." State and Federal legislatures need to support the efforts of all counter terrorism agencies through funding, education, and when necessary, the allocation of military personal including the National Guard.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Choose not to answer
I do not have an answer for this question. I feel this is a question for federal candidates.
IMMIGRATION
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone passing a criminal background check entering through a legal US port of entry should be allowed to immigrate. “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." We should not stand in the way of people who follow the legal steps toward citizenship. Reasonable consideration for amnesty should be made for refugees who enter illegally but otherwise would have been granted access if they had entered through a legal port of entry. In all cases, adjudication of immigration cases should be swift and not linger on for decades.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
Yes, I do support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools. We should not keep kids in failing schools. This is a complex and difficult problem that requires creative and tough solutions.
Parents are the primary stakeholders in their children's education.

Marriage between one man and one woman and the families they form are the foundation of civilization and are fundamental to the well-being and prosperity of Wisconsin.
Agree
Nuclear families do help create a healthy Wisconsin. Wisconsin also has many blended and multi-faceted families. Whatever the structure, the key is that we are raising children of good character with strong values. Any family structure that aims for this goal is creating a health Wisconsin.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
No, IDs are needed to verify who you say you are.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
No specific State statues come immediately to mind; however generally speaking any law that prohibits the lawful casting of ballots by eligible citizens should be reviewed.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I believe that the false statement that racism is unchecked though our society is a threat to the United States. It is tearing us apart and people are becoming more filled with hate.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
No, Reparations should not be given to people on the basis of race. That would imply that people today, who are not of a certain race and at fault for their ancestors' actions.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources. However, Gas companies should be required to prove that the environment will heal in a certain time period.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am the best person to elect because I am NOT a career politician. I believe in term limits and taking immediate action to address real problems impacting people and families. I have fresh legs to step up and carry forth the problems of our district with a cooperative spirit and new perspective. With a passion for REALLY hearing what my neighbors have to say, I have spent years studying the social, economic, and political issues facing our communities. I am 22-years old, an Eagle Scout, attending UWM fulltime, working two jobs, motivated, hardworking, dedicated and giving it my all every single day. I see the world from a different angle and will fight EVERY DAY for the people of my district. We need term limits. We need to bring civil conversation back to our government and our daily lives. We need all police departments to be fully funded throughout the state. We need to protect small businesses from inflation and other economic forces that threaten them. Small businesses are the jewels of our communities.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
Yes, I agree that police officers should be immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy while on duty.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
No, I don’t support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs. Cities that followed this line of thinking have reversed course and expanded their police budgets because an increase of crime.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Common sense measures such as storage, child safety locks, gun safes, etc. are necessary to prevent weapons from use by persons other than the owner.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
No, it is not the manufacturer's fault that someone used their product in a terrible way. This would be similar to thinking that a victim of a car accident should be able to sue the car manufacturer because a driver chose to run his/her car into, for instance, a Christmas parade. No one makes that leap with vehicular homicides or vehicular injuries, so why would the same logic apply to gun manufacturers?
