QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

All of us, regardless of the circumstances of our birth, are children of God. I cannot personally imagine ending the life of an unborn child, but legally understand calls for exceptions in the cases of impregnation as a result of rape and incest, as is allowed in numerous U.S. states and EU member countries.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Taxpayers should not subsidize organizations that morally offend their deepest held convictions, especially when America is already mired in a culture of death.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I favor changes to the tax code which close out loopholes utilized by the wealthy and connected who can afford high-powered tax attorneys, and the enactment of taxation which encourages and supports marriage, family formation, and keeping families intact.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would seek to reduce the size of the state-wide bureaucracy, as an immediate cost-saving measure and also one that would continue to pay dividends by slowing the proliferation of further government programs.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Governments should not be able to close churches barring a legally proven case of criminal activity.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C. is closest to my current understanding.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Vaccinations should not be required for participation in the common space and life of our state as a denial of the autonomy and dignity of a human person. Reasonable accommodations must be provided for conscientious objectors in the workplace, schools, and government.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The United States should stop involving itself in Middle Eastern wars and politics which destroy the lives of our most patriotic Americans while simultaneously depleting the resources we badly need to rebuild our country at home. The United States should stop trying to pick winners and losers halfway around the world and thereby avoid previous mistakes such as empowering the Taliban in Afghanistan, ISIS in Syria, and the MEK in Iran.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Choose not to answer

The government should not be able to regulate or outlaw conscientious boycotts by American citizens. That is their choice as free citizens.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Did not answer

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

I support school choice if necessary, but I believe that most parents pursuing these options want better public schools and resort to removing their children as a last resort.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Choose not to answer

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a practicing Catholic who believes in objective Truth and that the route to fulfillment is through living in accordance with God's will and wishes for us. Substitutes for this path may seem appealing at first glance but inevitably lead to sorrow and destruction, of the self and of others.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Voting should be monitored by bipartisan teams of election judges by law, and counting of votes should be done physically and on camera at all times to remove doubts about election integrity.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes, the demonization of the core, heritage population of Americans will mean the eroding of the base for American economic, military, and social power. Anti-White racism, if allowed to continue unchecked, will see the United States join the Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, Roman, and Soviet Empires, which likewise turned against their founding stock as a prelude to their disintegration as the majority of Americans, which fall into this group, withdraw their consent to be governed by a system which hates them.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

B comes closer to my view, but I fall between the two poles.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Neutral

The first step to renewable energy is self-sufficiency, and the United States is blessed with some of the richest bounties of mineral and energy wealth in the world. Fracking should be evaluated with an eye towards the current worldwide energy crunch, and safeguards should be taken to ensure that it does not lead to ground water contamination where it is practiced.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Government exists to provide security for the citizens so that they may enjoy the fruits of their ancestors and have the freedom to pass on more to their descendants.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

I consider myself as closer to the Christian Democrat tradition in European politics.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9p7d6sEIp8

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I want to make it easier for Minnesotans to start and raise a family in the state, and that means tackling the issues of safety, education, and economics which are currently facing our state. Minnesota is a leader in many areas, and can be a leader in so many more with the right policies and the right attitude. I am looking forward to serving in the legislature and then returning to private life before I am transformed into a career politician.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

"conduct consistent with departmental policy" being the key phrase here. Those policies should be brought to the public's attention as well.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

The current shortage of police officers in the state has left our communities vulnerable. Funds for admirable mental health and community programs should not come at the expense of further reducing the size and capabilities of our police forces.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe that gun ownership should be restricted to adult Americans with no criminal records.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Disagree

One cannot sue a car dealer or manufacturer for vehicular homicide.
