QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Unfettered abortion, including up to the moment of birth, is law in Minnesota. Now removed is the right to life giving care for babies surviving abortion. They are left to die when, with care, they might live. I want to save as many lives as possible, which includes the life of the mother.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

For the well-being and safety of the mother, and comfort for the baby, it is the doctor that needs to consult, advise, explain, and respond to questions regarding process, risks, & aftercare. It is imperative for both the short and long-term safety of the mother, child being aborted, and for future patients that detailed and transparent reporting on reactions and outcomes be required.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Right to private property- citizens "have the right to acquire private property under free enterprise principles. This may be in the location in which they want to acquire property and should not be restricted by personal or financial limitations." Freedom is your personal private property rights.

What is your position on the minimum wage?

This needs to be market driven. Government setting minimum wages does not help, but hurts inflation.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

The economy is not driven by environmental, social economic warfare, or injustice, but by a capitalist market rate economy.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Constitutionally, it is prohibited from government overreach.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Constitutionally, individuals and businesses are not to be forced to violate their moral and/or religious beliefs. Article 1-Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. The establishment clause bars the government from taking sides in religious disputes favoring or disfavoring based on religious beliefs. Promises of religious freedom for everyone, not just the empowered few.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

The Federal Government shares a financial responsibility for medicare programs by matching state costs with federal tax dollars. This should not be the responsibility of less populated states, like South Dakota, to fulfill the financial burdens of heavily populated states, like California. I am working to understand the complexities ... D?

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. Especially when there is no FDA approval.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Close the border. Quit selling our land to the enemy. Identify and remove the threats.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Having relationships with countries with similar guiding principals is important.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Yes. Finish the wall at the southern border. Put more agents on the northern border.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

The right for advocating for the well-being ones child is imperative. Parents are not notified for multiple issues-trans/abortion. The 'State' is not the parent, yet it circumvents the parent-child relationship and their ability to provide care to their child. Abortion=evidence gone=the rapist is free to continue victimizing and parents are kept out of the loop. Parental rights need to be fully reinstated. Parents care and are invested in the wellbeing of their child...the "State" is not.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe my debt of sin was paid in fulll when Christ died, and in fulfilling prophecy, rose again so I may stand blameless, hidden in Christ, before God. While prophecies of the Old Testament continue to be fulfilled, I am blessed living under the New Testament. He loves all of us, no matter our walk in life, our gender, race, nationality, or sin...and to have eternal life, as did the thief on the cross, we need only ask...And also for us, just as Jesus confirmed to the theif that he would be in paradise with Him that day.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

It is imperative to make our elections clean. The current drivers licenses approved for 81K illegals, by the current Minnesota trifecta, also intentionally voted down any demarcation of immigration status. They created a gateway access document seemingly legitimizing their presence and making it easier to fraudulently vote.

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

To do this the only places our national candidates will campaign will be in the states with the largest populations. The voice of small states will not be heard or represented. We need the electoral college so "all" will have a voice.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Our domestic security is threatened through multiple fronts including religious, political, and cultural. All of these have racial overtones. When accepting vast amounts of people that are integrating but not assimilating, coming here from failed states with failed ideas, it is the right and responsibility of US citizens to uphold and defend the US Constitution as written and NOT adhere to international law.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

This is an assertion, not a definitive statement. It is an assumption. The 14th Amendment states that all men are equal under the law. The Preamble of the Constitution states that all men are created equal. This is the Supreme Law of the Land. Supported and professed by Martin Luther King, we are not to be judged by the color of our skin, but by the content of character-aka colorblind society. This statement infers that we are defined by race.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Women and their rights have been abused, trespassed and set back decades. XY is proven to be physically stronger than XX. Thus XX does not equal XY in sports. XY is a safety threat for XX in all of these places and situations.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

C

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear and Coal are proven reliable sources for electricy. Nuclear is cleanest producing nearly ZERO carbon dioxide and air pollutants. WE ALREADY HAVE NET ZERO with nuclear. Why push unproven Wind & solar? They are NOT reliable, & NOT recyclable.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

no

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

no

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

"form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity." As a legislator, I will take the oath to protect and defend the Constitution.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Enforce only those restrictions found in the US Constitution.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Choose not to answer

Teachers should be able to carry a non-lethal weapon, but there needs to be armed protection on the school grounds. We need to protect our children, the most vulnerable amongst us.
