RIGHT TO LIFE

When the life of the mother is at risk.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Social Security income should not be taxed.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I would look at reducing wasteful government spending in virtually every and any area of government that does not meet the established criteria for what is considered wasteful and/or unnecessary, and both of the houses of government should come to a consensus on what that criteria is.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

Laws that clarify only the legislature can change voting law, not the Secretary of State or Attorney General
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is an issue to some individuals within our country who may prefer not to move forward and onward toward adjusting and accommodating to a quickly changing world, and a society that is ever racing to keep up what the speed of change. Rapid change is happening in just about every dimension of our society. It seems to me that we are allowing ourselves to be distracted and perhaps at times pulled back into bygone years, when we did struggle with and address issues of racial inequality. Today, it seems to me to be less of a matter of race, and more of an issue of poverty for people of virtually all races, including black and white. Poverty and economic security are real issues in our current society that need to be addressed by people of all races and all economic backgrounds. I would prefer that we come together as Americans, who use our American ingenuity to problem solve poverty, hunger and homelessness, which are so intertwined with crime and mental health needs in our country.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Disagree
