RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I am prolife without exception. A compromise would be for incest or rape.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I support a 10% flat Tax, aka Consumption tax. It would replace income, sales tax, and most property taxes.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

We overspend on almost every single budgetary item. We need to fix or eliminate wasteful discretionary spending and government program overlaps. We also need to reform education. It is the biggest expenditure in Mn. For decades we have spent more and the results are not there. We need to focus on needs based funding and overhaul the funding system. The curriculum taught in schools, and offer vocational training to students who desire it. We also need to look at spending on every program or department in state government. Keep what is working, eliminate or fix what is not.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

K-12 public education should be guaranteed. Beyond high school, funding should come from student, parents, and a mix of grants and loans.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Never

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

B...sort of. Public funded Healthcare should be for those struggling...but not a permanent solution. Private Healthcare was affordable until ObamaCare. Private health care should be available in exchanges like automobile insurance and should not be restricted within statelines...so people and families can shop for the best plan that fits their needs. C would apply to retirees only.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Never. Healthcare and health decisions should always be left to the individual and their doctor. I support medical freedom.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Easiest way is to bankrupt them. Stop buying their oil. Stop sending them support.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

As a Pastor and Born Again Believer, it is my duty to support the freedom, security, and prosperity of Israel...whom was given the Land by God. Genesis 12:1-3 and some day God will give them all of the land that He promised (Daniel 2:35, 44-45; Zechariah 14:18-21). Christ will be ruling in this kingdom as the king of Israel.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

We couldn't come up with $5 Billion to protect our border...but give Ukraine $80 Billion. Ridiculous

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Only those who come here the legal way. Our ancestors came legally. Immigrants seeking permanent residence in the United States apply for a green card, the informal term for lawful permanent resident (LPR) status. LPRs are allowed to remain indefinitely, provided they are not convicted of a crime that makes them removable. They can apply for U.S. citizenship after five years, or three years if they marry a U.S. citizen.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Born Again Christian who believes in the fundamental and unalienable rights ordained by God. I am a social and fiscal conservative who believes in a limited government and free exercise of our rights in the pursuit of life, liberty, and hapiness.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Photo id's are required for all facets of life. To preserve election integrity...people should have to prove they are a legal resident that has the right to vote in our elections.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Eliminate early voting, eliminate expanded Absentee Voting, and eliminate unlimited expenditure voting by PACs, lobbys, and Corporations

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Racism is kept alive by liberals to control the winds of change in minority communities. Morgan Freeman said it best when asked How do we stop racism. Morgan Freeman said.. stop talking about it. https://youtu.be/RosCZkH5uTI

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. Period.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

As a conservatives, I believe, as Ronald Reagan did, that government should “work with us, not over us; to stand by our side, not ride on our back.  "Government,” said President Reagan, “can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it.” The second job is to provide a means of justice, and to provide for a common defense.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I am a Reagan Conservative.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

My top 3 priorities are 1. Help for Seniors.  Eliminating social security taxes, reducing or eliminating a retirees homestead taxes, and making Healthcare affordable. .  This can be paid for without raising anyone's taxes.  Minnesota has an abundant list of tax forfeited property that should be sold and placed on the tax roles in Minnesota. Property taxes on these parcels would be well in excess to pay for those ideals. 2. Creating and keeping higher paying jobs.  Increases in Minimum wages does not create jobs nor does it create higher paying jobs.  It's adds to inflation and the cost of living goes up for ALL of Minnesotans  To do this, we need to cut corporate and business taxes which fuels investment and business expansion. We also need to expand opportunities for trades and apprenticeship training.  Some of the best paying jobs in Minnesota do not require a 4 year college degree. 3. Government reform. This entails a lot work by a responsible government.  It requires looking at what's working and what is not, and fix what is not working.  Throwing money at problems fixes nothing.  We need a government willing to do more with less, especially in a struggling economy.  It's what they ask us to do.  They should live by the same standard.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Anyone who has committed a felony, charge with domestic abuse. Made threats of bodily harm or terroristic threats, has had protective orders against them for violence, or has a history of mental health issues...should not be around or own guns.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
