QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Strongly Agree

The formation of Planned Parenthood was designed by eugenic experts that have infiltrated political affiliations to sterilize certain populations. I stand against principles and policies that are anti-God and show no remorse for life.

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The Bible states that God knew us before He formed us, meaning as soon as conception started God already determined a plan for that child. Children deserve protection during all stages of growth.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

I agree this speaks volume towards capitalism's success. We need people to be capable of starting their own businesses and work towards goals to store up riches or property for themselves and their future.

School districts should be able to use taxpayer money for lobbying the state legislature.

Strongly Disagree

Money for education should be directed to funding school operations and students. As parents and tax payers we wouldn't want to see money redirected to people that are essentially making money off of education tax dollars. Members of the community should band together to stand against policies they don't agree with utilizing their own resources.

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?

I believe in funding for public education. I would be open to listening to views on why we should fund colleges, but I am not a supporter of it. Our students need programs and mentorships in various trades and vocations while in public school. They should be able to attune to the workforce immediately especially if they aren't college ready. We are struggling with having our kids globally ready to succeed upon graduation and our focus should be to fully prepare them while in grade school to strongly support their decision to enter college.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.

Strongly Agree

Absolutely! Today we are witnessing secular ideologies that are forcing their way into being normalized. The truth of the matter is that anyone exercising practical faith and values in today's time are being persecuted or shunned by others who don't hold the same views. Soon faith based values will have no place in our schools and will only label those with them targets.

School districts should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Equality is treating people with love regardless of their beliefs. We see the attack on Judeo-Christian values because people don't want to compromise their convictions, they are being taken to court or forced to sway their beliefs to fulfill worldly trends and cultures. School boards should never have that much power to discriminate against peoples belief.

Students should not be allowed to pray in school.

Strongly Disagree

Absolutely NOT! As a public teacher, when our Governor instituted a one minute moment of silence to reflect or pray I utilized it everyday. Prayer sets an atmosphere of honor, respect and character within an individual and towards a Greater One! We should never discourage anyone from respectfully petitioning their creator, especially when it encourages support for your well being and mental state of mind.

EDUCATION

What is the function of the local school board?

Our local school board is to better serve the local constituents. We are to follow our state authority along with the state constitution of education when approving policies for our district. We review, select and approve the superintendent of our school district to support our district with better leadership. We vote on how the annual budget is to be allocated to the different departments, employees, equipment, learning resources and salaries within our district. We can vote on policies we want implemented while ensuring our policies comply with federal laws. Our positions are given to us by the public through voting and in return we hold open meetings for us to discuss the agendas that are being voted on. Our target goal is to confer and develop a strategic plan in order to create and work towards a vision typically to increase student literacy and mathematical rates, ensure graduation rates are acceptable, increase college readiness and decrease behavioral challenges that can hinder student growth.

Who should have the authority to set curriculum and determine resources used in those curricula?

I believe the school board should have the ability to set and determine curriculum resources that are approved by the Florida Department of Education. The Department of Education filters the best quality of learning materials for our students to ensure we pick the best ones suitable for a child's whole growth. We should then hear from the wisdom and expertise of our educators to see which ones better effectively meet the learning needs of our students prior to voting on the curriculum we want in.

When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?

Parents should never be restricted to speak to the board during any of our open sessions.

Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): Mathematics, Information Technology, Science, Political Activism, Personal Finances, Gender Identity, Physical Fitness, American History, Critical Race Theory, Language Arts, Art & Music, Vocational Learning, Sexuality, Foreign Language, Social Emotional Learning

Language Arts, Mathematics, American History, Physical Fitness, Arts & Music, Information Technology, Vocational Learning, Foreign Language, Personal Finances, Political Activism

American civics education should emphasize our nation's founding principles of liberty and equality.

Strongly Agree

We should always include the standards of our founding principles. It is argued that this hasn't been the case during the course of America, but we have shown that we overcame our past failures and built a better future on these principles for all people to live by.

Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.

Strongly Agree

Of course! This is part of being transparent in our education system. Parents should never have to be automatically opted in to something as we have seen in our district. The only way to have students not attend is to opt out. Opt in's give the parents more rights to make decisions for their kids.

The loss of local control in education is too high a price to pay in exchange for federal dollars.

Strongly Agree

As we can see states have differing views and to have full government control in our schools is what the majority of people would stand against. Keeping the local aspect of a school board represents the peoples choice more than the governments choice.

I support the teaching of curricula (such as the 1619 Project, No Place for Hate, Second Step, etc.) that emphasizes slavery and racism as the foundation of American history.

Strongly Disagree

Parents are the ultimate authority in their child’s education and should be able to freely pursue whatever educational options they deem best for their child.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian first in all things. As a disciple of Christ I will stand firm, unwavering and uncompromising in the the values I hold to be true. My values exceed political parties or secular ideologies. I will always love my neighbor wether I disagree with them or not, but like my values I don't force anyone to believe what I believe in. In the same respect no one should shame anyone that holds values similar to the majority of the American people.

I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.

Strongly Disagree

Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?

Parents are ultimately responsible in what they want their children to learn concerning sexual education. I believe every child has a different maturity level and it can be discretional as when to teach a child about their God given identity. I personally teach my child as his body matures into the stages of adult hood. This can be digestible bites throughout the course of his development. If parents decide to let the schools do it they should always be given prior notice as to what is being talked about before making that decision.

If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- Physical and emotional health outcomes; contraceptive methods; consent; abstinence; sexual orientation and gender identity; human anatomy/the reproductive system; abortion methods and side effects; stages of pregnancy and fetal development; sex acts and pleasures of sex

Human anatomy, reproductive system, physical and emotional health outcomes, abstinence, consent, STD's, viruses stages of pregnancy and fetal development, contraceptive methods and wanted and unwanted behaviors/sexual harassment.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent.

Strongly Agree

No school official should be involved in the sexual transitioning of a student, including the use of alternative names and pronouns.

Strongly Agree

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

A candidate's personal moral values should not be relevant when considering a candidacy for elective office.

Strongly Agree

We have built our framework on society on many difference in races, creeds and values. Each and everyone one of us finds relevancy in others who are like minded and different. I believe values should be considered because they will govern how you pass legislation.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://www.facebook.com/100054166948817/videos/288138036866717/ I am not afraid to stand for our generation and against any policies that are trying to bring our country and values to their knees.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

This isn't about being far right, far left, conservative, liberal, criminal or upstanding. This has become a battle of Good Vs. evil. I enlisted to serve and fight for our children persevering and not giving up because Jesus Christ didn't give up on me. I thank you for your time and consideration. Chris.

2ND AMENDMENT

Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.

Neutral

Teachers who are licensed and trained by law enforcement professionals should be allowed to carry. I believe the training should be more extensive than a standard carry class and this is where law enforcement expertise flourishes.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Under what circumstances (if any) should schools be allowed to require vaccinations?

I don't believe in mandatory vaccinations.

I support mask mandates.

Strongly Disagree

I would never stand for something trying to govern people with fear. Looking at the science now and the hypocrisy of the officials who implemented them we can see it was for political gain.
