QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not be a resource for instruction or services in the school.

Strongly Agree

I am a strong advocate for the right to life. Planned Parenthood has no place in our schools. Our schools should teach our children to practice abstinence and provide our children with modest, age appropriate instruction on the consequences of sex and sexual diseases.

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion is the most egregious sin and civil injustice of our time. I will zealously fight for the legal and human rights of the unborn.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

The 5th and 14th amendments of the U.S. Constitution recognize property as an essential and fundamental right of our country. Capitalism is the most successful economic philosophy.

School districts should be able to use taxpayer money for lobbying the state legislature.

Strongly Disagree

Taxpayer funds should go to funding a child's education, not the agendas of special interest groups.

What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?

I think government funding should follow the children, not the school. School choice is an essential elements of success for our school-age children. The government should be held responsible if the government school system is failing our child. Parents should have the ability to use their tax money elsewhere.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.

Strongly Agree

Our country was built on biblical principles and students should retain the right to practice their religion as guaranteed by the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

School districts should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Discrimination is not acceptable on any level. An organization should be able to conduct itself as it believes is moral and just. Education has nothing to do with marriage or sexual orientation.

Students should not be allowed to pray in school.

Strongly Disagree

Students should be allowed to pray in school. Prayer is a vital component of life.

EDUCATION

What is the function of the local school board?

The local School Board's job is to approve the budget and execute state law as commanded by the state legislature and governor.

Who should have the authority to set curriculum and determine resources used in those curricula?

The budget plays a large role in selecting and approving the curriculum; however, parents should be involved in the process.

When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?

Never. The School Board works for the parents; not the other way around. I will have an open door policy, even if I have to stand alone from the other school board members.

Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): Mathematics, Information Technology, Science, Political Activism, Personal Finances, Gender Identity, Physical Fitness, American History, Critical Race Theory, Language Arts, Art & Music, Vocational Learning, Sexuality, Foreign Language, Social Emotional Learning

Language Arts Mathematics American History Science Art & Music Physical Fitness Information Technology Personal Finances Vocational Learning Foreign Language

American civics education should emphasize our nation's founding principles of liberty and equality.

Strongly Agree

Our children should be taught that America is the greatest country on earth and that God gave us the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.

Strongly Agree

Only abstinence and the consequences of unsafe sex should be taught at age appropriate levels. Parents should have to opt-in by giving their consent.

The loss of local control in education is too high a price to pay in exchange for federal dollars.

Strongly Agree

School Board decisions should reflect the will of the people who elected the School Board members, not the will of bureaucrats in DC.

I support the teaching of curricula (such as the 1619 Project, No Place for Hate, Second Step, etc.) that emphasizes slavery and racism as the foundation of American history.

Strongly Disagree

America was built on the principals of freedom, liberty, and God. Our curricula should address slavery objectively and not teach students to hate each other, based on skin color or any other outward characteristic. America is the land of the free and provides an equal opportunity for all its citizens, regardless of race, nationality, sex, or sexual orientation. This is what should be taught in our schools.

Parents are the ultimate authority in their child’s education and should be able to freely pursue whatever educational options they deem best for their child.

Strongly Agree

Parents have the legal, fundamental right for the care, custody, and control of their child's education. As the legal guardian of a child, a parent should have the legal right to guard their child as they deem fit.

VALUES

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and the Bible is the incorruptible Word of God by which I strive to live.

I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.

Strongly Disagree

Biological boys should NOT be participating in biological girl's sports, regardless of how they identify, since they have a biological advantage.

Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?

Parents are ultimately responsible for teaching Sexual Education to their children. When the appropriate age is to begin, should also be an individual choice made by the child's parents. If they decide to allow their children to participate in school led Sexual Education classes, the parents should have to opt in by providing their written consent. School led Sexual Education classes should be limited to age appropriate lessons on health, such as addressing bodily changes that occur during puberty just prior to when most children will experience these changes.

If you support the teaching of Sex Ed, please answer the following question: Sexual education should include these topics (list all that apply and add your own, if needed) -- Physical and emotional health outcomes; contraceptive methods; consent; abstinence; sexual orientation and gender identity; human anatomy/the reproductive system; abortion methods and side effects; stages of pregnancy and fetal development; sex acts and pleasures of sex

I would support teaching students in an age appropriate way the following topics: physical health, abstinence, human anatomy, the reproductive system, stages of pregnancy, and fetal development.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

The founding fathers correctly recognized that our inalienable rights are given to us by God and not by the government. Noah Webster properly implemented Judaeo-Christian values into education to teach children about how our God-given rights are compatible with being a free nation. We should get back to these fundamentals.

No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent.

Strongly Agree

ONLY the legal guardian of a child should be able to make healthcare related decisions, since it is their legal right and responsibility to guard their child.

No school official should be involved in the sexual transitioning of a student, including the use of alternative names and pronouns.

Strongly Agree

The school should have absolutely no involvement.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voter fraud is rampant and we need to get a hold on it by safeguarding it in every way possible, including implementing Voter ID.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

A candidate's personal moral values should not be relevant when considering a candidacy for elective office.

Strongly Disagree

A candidate's morals and values influence the way he or she will choose to represent the constituents once elected, so there is no greater qualification to consider than a candidate's moral compass.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am dedicated to helping children succeed in school and beyond. When I am elected to School Board, I will advocate for children and parents every day, hour, and minute. I will be the champion of the children and be their voice! I work for the people; not the Bureaucrats.

2ND AMENDMENT

Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.

Strongly Agree

Teachers who are well trained and responsible should be able to protect themselves and their children. Ongoing training should be required if a teacher chooses to carry on campus.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Under what circumstances (if any) should schools be allowed to require vaccinations?

Schools may encourage vaccinations; however parents / legal guardians should be able to make all healthcare decisions for their children.

I support mask mandates.

Strongly Disagree

Scientific evidence has proven that masks are not effective and are detrimental to learning.
