RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
For years, the political left has used "when the mother's life is at risk" that has been manipulated to the point where abortion on demand is deemed acceptable, which it is not. According to statistical data I have seen, less than 1% fall under that category. Only that category should be allowed under a qualified medical doctor registered as a professional obstetrician licensed with the State and a discussion with the mother involved should be involved. With that decision, the obstetrician involved must provide legitimate medical reasons that involves potential permanent physical damage of impairment, or death to the mother and the baby will not survive delivery. Beyond that circumstance, the State should define that the baby and mother are two seperate bodies as science confirms this and abortion beyond the circumstance noted above is considered murder of a baby in the womb as life begins at conception.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
The State Legislature has wrongly delegated their responsibility to a "Board of Equalization" appointed by the Governor that clarifies and judicates on State Tax implementation. Simple legislation must be created that removes this "Board of Equalization" from manipulating the tax code for interpretation on current property values for assessing taxes. We cannot based assessment of property taxes on current value when unrealistic hyperinflation is occurring in a real estate market. This action is forcing people out of their homes in some cases. We must reverse this immediately with simple legislation that removes bad interpretation from bureaucrats appointed by Governor to make them irrelevant and provide legislation that provides simple application of multiple types of property based on fair market value of acquisition purchase of the property involved and require a very low percent incremental cap based on acquisition purchase and low percent increases of past not to exceed 3%. Families have to live on a budget. The State government should do the same.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Stop the increase of government spending and force local municipalities to provide a budget based on previous spending the past 10 years. We should also require State and Local municipalities to provide a reduced budget by slightly lowering mill levies during a down economy and in an economy of hyperinflation so that Wyoming citizens are not hurt by excessive taxes. We do not have a funding problem; we have a spending problem. The mindset in our State Legislature needs to have this mindset.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
Grants and Scholarships already set up should be protected. However, not all degrees that are provided produce useful and productive wages within the State. Gender Studies is an example of wasteful spending and should be eliminated. Our focus should be on traditional education such as engineering, sciences, math, and degrees that historically provided useful degrees of college attendees so that the job markets can be filled with qualified individuals.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
The US Constitution and Wyoming Constitution restricts government from interfering from religious liberty. Personal medical autonomy is also protected under the Wyoming Constitution under Article 1, Section 38. This legislation is not the same as allowing women or organization to terminate the life of a baby when there is no detrimental health risk to the mother and baby.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None. The US Constitution and Wyoming Constitution do not allow the government to interfere with Churches. The previous pandemic was perpetuated by false information from the media and government bureaucrats. Our US Constitution and Wyoming Constitution provides no exceptions to violating the freedom to assemble in Churches.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Bring medicine back into the free market. Medical decisions need to be between a doctor and patient ONLY. Insurance companies have too much power dictating what doctors can and cannot prescribe for treatment. Remove the bureaucratic middleman (state and federal government) from this relationship. Allow doctors and facilities to set their own pricing allowing them to provide discounts and pro-bono assistance to those who need it. This action upholds the Wyoming State Constitution Article 1, Section 38.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None. Medical decisions need to be between a doctor and patient ONLY. Remove the bureaucratic middleman (state and federal government) as government has no authority under the original intent of the US Constitution and Wyoming Constitution unless medical decision involves termination of a life separate from that individual, such as abortion. This action upholds the Wyoming State Constitution Article 1, Section 38.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
This question is not related to the authority of the State Legislature position other than responsibilities delegated with the original intent of the Tenth Amendment of the US Constitution. With this in mind, State Legislatures have a responsibility to protect their citizens if the Federal Government is neglecting it's duties to protect American Citizens. Restricting immigration to those who pose a threat with common sense background checks would be an example. State Legislature can assist with simple legislation that assists law enforcement of the State and potential threats that are evident.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
This question is not related to the authority of the State Legislature position. The political left and leftist media push this political narrative of "occupied territories". Israel is a small nation and has a right to exist. The reason these occupied territories exist is because of a hostile population that is determined to remove the existence of Israel and Israel has a right to defend its existence, including occupied territories if necessary. Other nations did this in WWII, including the US
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State Legislatures must take back their authority under the Tenth Amendment of the US Constitution to secure sovereignty of their State if the Federal Government fails to protect US citizens and State Borders with illegal unchecked immigration. This means taking back authority of National Guards within each State and utilizing resources to protect it's citizens. Border States have the right to use Federal Budgeting of National Security to finish building the wall at the Southern Border.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Only those willing in comply with our US Constitution, agree with the original intent of the US Constitution as an acceptance of government type and agree to be self-sufficient as much as possible.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
The Federal Government was never given authority for public education under the original intent of the US Constitution. The US Department of Education should be defunded, and control of education standards should be returned to the States and at the local level. The Federal Budget deficit does not allow unconstitutional bureaucracies to continue to exist when it had no constitutional authority to begin with.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Read the history of our founding fathers of the US Constitution and you will see why.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Gender is based on the science of biology. You are either born biologically as a male or female. The First Amendment allows you to live with a differing opinion, but not to impose on others or create government legislation that extends beyond it's constitutional authority originally given to it. Don't allow government to create special treatment of those promoting gender identity which is a political left issue and not relevant to our US Constitution if equal protection is applied.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
Our US Constitution was based on Judea-Christian values. You have the right under the First Amendment to live differently as long as you don't impose your views on others and impose on the rights of others. Be respectful. Move to another country if you disagree with the original intent of our US Constitution.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
This is a political narrative that is pushed by the political left and is false. This narrative is creating preferences and is actually doing harm to equal protection under the law. Equal protection should be applied regardless of skin color or sexual preference. Remove these false narratives as they are contrary under equal protection under our US Constitution.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
If you have to have an ID to get a bank account, you should have an ID to assure the integrity of our elections that only legal residents are allowed to vote under our US and State Constitutions. If you don't like it, move to another country.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Make voter ID identification in all states and required verification of all ballots, including mail-in ballots. If they cannot be legally certified that the voter is a legal resident, it should not be counted.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
This is a political narrative that is pushed by the political left and is false. This narrative is creating preferences and is actually doing harm to equal protection under the law. Equal protection should be applied regardless of skin color or sexual preference. Remove these false narratives as they are contrary under equal protection under our US Constitution.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Remove the Federal Government from the use of natural resources within each State, including environmental laws and regulations. The original intent of the US Constitution never gave the Federal Government this authority. Return it back to the States under the intent of the Tenth Amendment. The States should have sovereignty within their State on utilization of natural resources and not the Federal Government. The only exception are National Parks. National Forests can be set aside with the partnership of the Federal and State Governments, but States ultimately have sovereignty over these lands.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
See my response to States having the responsibility of managing natural resources.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Only as outlined as originally describe in our US Constitution. We have a Federal Budget deficit and Federal Debt because we have ignored our US Constitution. Go read the original document and let us get back to it.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
I am a Constitutional Conservative. If we followed the original intent from the beginning, we would not have a Federal Deficit that we have today.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Disagree
Follow the US Constitution and the State Constitutions where equal protection under the law exists and if those involved with police where not following reasonable search and seizures, they are accountable to law enforcement.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
This issue is another political left argument that destroys our US Constitution and equal protection under the law process.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Gun restrictions should only be applied to convicted criminals. Keep the 2nd Amendment to law abiding citizens with no restrictions as we have that right under the US Constitution.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
The problem is the person pulling the trigger, not the firearms dealer or gun.
