OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None (except perhaps to preserve the life of the mother, which is almost NEVER the case). I will add to this a question I believe all candidates should answer: When does human life begin? My answer: At conception. This is so basic and self-evident that to deny it indicates your conscience has been seared. I agree wholeheartedly with the young woman who screamed at me at a recent pro-life demonstration I was attending, “Not your body, not your choice!” Exactly. The baby’s body is NOT YOUR BODY, NOT YOUR CHOICE.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Taxes should be reduced across the board. I will add to this a question I ask of those running for office: When is it OK to raise taxes? My answer: Never. And taxes includes fees, registration fees, land-use fees, application fees; re-naming a tax with a different name doesn’t make it smell sweeter.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Entitlement programs.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Never. I will add to this a related question I think should be asked of all candidates running for office: Do you support medical mandates, including but not limited to, vaccines and facemasks? My answer: Unequivocally, NO. In the last few years some Republicans seem to have forgotten that the Republican party stands for liberty. Republicans in my previous State Senate race didn’t even want me talking about this issue. And Democrats are a lost cause. We need to also remove the Emergency Declaration that started this whole string of events.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded. This is not the proper role of government. This can be done by gradually phasing out Medicaid and Medicare.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. I will add to this a related question I think should be asked of all candidates running for office: Do you support medical mandates, including but not limited to, vaccines and facemasks? My answer: Unequivocally, NO. In the last few years some Republicans seem to have forgotten that the Republican party stands for liberty. NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Secure our borders, respond decisively and swiftly to attacks, and mind our own business.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Build the wall.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone who loves our country and the ideals on which it was founded should be allowed to immigrate to our country, provided they follow our laws and enter LEGALLY.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I will add to this a question I believe should be asked of all candidates running for office: What is marriage, and related, What is a man/woman? My answer: Marriage is one man and one woman. That we let marriage be re-defined as anything else is destructive to society. The answer to the related question “What is a man/woman?” is NOT, “I don’t know; I’m not a biologist”. “In the beginning, He made them male and female.” The answer to what a man and woman are is basic biology.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian. Jesus Christ died to save sinners, of which I am one, and I trust Him for my salvation. He is the reason I live.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

We require ID for almost everything else. It's ridiculous not to require it for voting.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I agree with Trump's position as stated at his rally for Harriet Hageman in Casper, WY, where I volunteered: one day to vote, paper ballots. I ran for State Senate in Illinois in 2020 and learned first-hand how the left converted the Covid scam into a weapon for institutionalized election theft. Losing a previously +9 Republican district by about 1700 votes, I lost VBM (vote by mail) in just ONE of the four counties in my district by roughly 8000 votes, where the clerk for that county didn’t bother to verify any of those VBM signatures.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. It's the Left who tries to divide us based on race, class, etc.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. We are well past the point where more regulations are necessary.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

..."establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity"

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Search any internet browser for "Jeanette Ward U-46" or "Jeanette Ward Illinois" and you will find a plethora of publicly available information, from those who hate me and those who love me, validating my answer.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I want to Keep Wyoming Free, by capping property tax increases to no more than 3%, protecting Wyoming's energy supply from foreign actors, and ensuring that never again will government shut down businesses and steal your medical freedom.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Defunding police has disastrous consequences.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I don't like the way this question is phrased. In general, there should be VERY few restrictions on gun ownership. Convicted felons and mentally unstable persons (as determined by families and courts - not one or two individuals alone) probably shouldn't own guns; other than that, none.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
