QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only prior to the fetus developing a heartbeat or in the instance of rape, incest or if the mother's life is in immediate danger. We do not kill life. It is called murder.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Agree
This should only be an option when severe pain will end in certain death.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
We need to repeal the 16th Amendment and abolish the IRS.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Any entitlement program that can be suitably handled at the state, local or community level.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Because of our right to assemble, never.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Never, they should be offered on a voluntary basis.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Our intelligence agencies must be given the tools and training to detect activities and stop attacks by closing down the cells before that are able to take actions.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Disagree
If this movement of celebrities and leftist socialist succeeds, who will the choose next? If they want to change things, they need to move there and run for office.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone of good moral character that goes through the normal naturalization process and is willing to assimilate to American ways and values.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Disagree
While the Judaeo-Christian values were prevalent in those who founded our government, the concept of freedom of religion is not one of a single religion. Any religion that promotes moral character and brotherly love is just a necessary to our nation.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Disagree
We the People were given the ability to form our Government through elections and therefore we may change things through legal legislation that the majority support. Although this is a simple one. Just call any other a Union. Problem solved.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My beliefs and values support moral and ethical practices but do not subscribe to any one religion. I believe there is a God, albeit not a simple entity but something that our minds are unable to fathom. I consider my beliefs and values to be very personal so I do not discuss them at length in public.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I would do away with mail-in voting except for absentee voting. I would also do away with early voting and make it a requirement that employers make arrangements so that workers have the ability to go to the polls and vote. I would also require a photo ID. It is the only way to ensure fair elections.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
The term has been used in such fashion of late that had degraded its significance. That being said, while tensions have increased in recent years, I've not seen civil rights being trampled and one could say that there is some form of instigator/s that are intentionally trying to make it an issue. While our cultures may be different, we are all Americans and should strive to be the best person we can regardless of race.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
I also support good, clean nuclear energy. We now have the technology to make every plant safe. And these plants produce much more power with almost no hazard to the environment.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
It's initial task, to provide for the general defense and regulate international commerce. Period. OK, maybe ensuring civil rights should be thrown in there, but all the other things they have expanded into should go. And the Capitol Police should only be in the Capitol.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
If you are asking me to provide information validating me as being conservative, I have always believed in limited government and always will. I have not had any news outlet reach out to me to get my viewpoints. I am available anytime in the evenings should they wish to. I suspect that will be coming soon.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I will legislate from reason and not emotion. We must use discretion when working to resolve issues and we must be willing to at least listen and try to understand dissenting viewpoints. And we should never, ever give up any of our rights with an emphasis on the 2nd Amendment, parental rights and medical autonomy.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
I agree to an extent, just because it is policy, if they know it is not right they need to make sure it is changed. Ignorance is no excuse.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Only ones that restrict criminals and only criminals. Gun control only restricts the honest law-abiding citizen. I believe that the moves to limit the 2nd Amendment and calling them 'common-sense' is a lie. The Progressives (Marxists) want to disarm the public and are frightening everyone in Everytown to do their bidding. There should be no restrictions on the 2nd Amendment.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
