QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Agree

Many taxpayers hold deeply held moral, religious, and ethical objections to abortion and should not be compelled to financially support abortion providers through taxpayer funding. I believe healthcare funding should prioritize services that support women, children, families, preventive care, and maternal health without requiring public funding for abortion-related services.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

None; I believe human life begins at conception and that every unborn child has inherent value and deserves legal protection. I believe society should support both mother and child through healthcare, counseling, adoption resources, family support, and compassionate assistance rather than elective abortion.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Agree

Every human life has inherent dignity and value from conception until natural death. The law should protect the most vulnerable, including unborn children, the elderly, the disabled, and those who cannot speak for themselves. A just society should promote life, provide compassionate support, and protect human dignity at every stage.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Agree

Human embryos represent developing human life and should be treated with dignity and respect. Scientific advancement and medical research are important, but they should be pursued ethically and without the purposeful destruction of human embryos. I believe society should value and protect human life at all stages of development.

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Agree

Laws passed by Congress should be enforced consistently and according to their intended purpose. I believe states have a legitimate interest in regulating abortion-related drugs and protecting unborn life. Any distribution of abortion-inducing drugs should comply with federal law, public safety standards, and constitutional processes established through the legislative system.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

Minimum wage should be higher because basic living costs have increased; however, raises should be phased in responsibly so small businesses are not harmed.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

Free enterprise, private property rights, and economic freedom encourage innovation, personal responsibility, investment, and opportunity. Individuals and businesses should have the ability to build, own, and grow without excessive government interference.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

Conducting regular audits of state agencies, programs to identify wasteful spending, duplication, and inefficiency. Reducing unnecessary bureaucracy, excessive admin costs, and regulations that burden taxpayers, families, and small businesses. Increasing government transparency and public access to how taxpayer dollars are spent. Prioritizing funding toward public safety, infrastructure, education, and essential services instead of politically driven programs with limited measurable results.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

To me, separation of church and state means the government should not establish or force a particular religion upon the public, while also protecting every individual’s constitutional right to freely practice their faith. Faith and religious values have historically played an important role in American society and public life, and people should not be excluded from civic participation because of their religious beliefs. At the same time, government should remain neutral in establishing religion,

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Neutral

Both religious liberty and equal access to services are important principles. Individuals should not be forced to violate deeply held moral or religious beliefs, while at the same time businesses serving the public should treat people fairly and respectfully. I believe these situations should be balanced carefully under constitutional and legal protections.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. I believe individuals/families should have access to affordable healthcare coverage, while also preserving personal choice and private healthcare options. Medicaid and Medicare play important roles for vulnerable populations, and I support maintaining access to those programs while encouraging competition, innovation, and accountability within the healthcare system.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Neutral

I selected neutral because I believe there are legitimate public-policy interests in understanding healthcare costs, treatment trends, and the long-term impact of major illnesses on the healthcare system. At the same time, I also believe strongly in medical privacy, individual rights, and safeguards against government overreach. Any collection of health-related information should be carefully limited, protected, and balanced against constitutional and privacy concerns.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

I strongly agree that the Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States. I believe the United States must protect its national security interests, critical infrastructure, technological innovation, supply chains, and economic independence. America should remain vigilant against foreign adversaries that may seek to undermine our economy, security, constitutional values, or global standing.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

USA's relationship w/Israel is important both strategically/spiritually. Israel is one of USA's strongest allies in the Middle East and plays an important role in regional stability, intelligence cooperation, national security, and democratic partnership. As a Christian, I also believe the Bible teaches the importance of supporting Israel and the Jewish people. I believe USA should continue maintaining a strong alliance with Israel while promoting peace, security and stability in the region.

IMMIGRATION

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Neutral

Immigration is a complex issue that requires both compassion and accountability. There may be legitimate reasons why some undocumented individuals did not initially complete the proper immigration process. At the same time, I believe there should also be an expectation that individuals who have remained in the United States long-term make good-faith efforts to comply with immigration laws and pursue lawful citizenship or legal status when eligible. I respect the rule of law.

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Neutral

Education decisions are often best made closer to the local level by parents, teachers, school districts, and states rather than through excessive federal control. At the same time, I also recognize the federal government plays a role in protecting certain educational standards, civil rights protections, and funding programs that support students and families. I believe any major changes to the Department of Education should be carefully evaluated to ensure student are not negatively impacted.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Neutral

Foreign support is not automatically harmful. Other countries or institutions may support education, research, or exchange programs if done transparently and voluntarily. However, there must be no strings attached, political influence, curriculum control, data access, or national security risk. I believe transparency, accountability, and protection of American constitutional values must always remain the priority.

VALUES

Government should recognize and support the fundamental right and essential duty of parents to direct their child's health and educational well-being.

Agree

Reasonable, responsible parents are the primary guardians and decision-makers for their children. Reasonable, responsible parents know their children best and should have a meaningful voice in their child’s health, education, safety, and overall well-being. Government should support parental involvement, transparency, and the rights of families while ensuring children are protected and supported.

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Agree

Children are still developing emotionally, mentally, and physically, and life-altering decisions involving gender identity should be approached with extreme caution. I believe parents should be fully involved in these decisions and that children deserve support, counseling, and protection rather than irreversible medical or social interventions at a young age.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

I personally believe marriage is a God-ordained, sacred union between one man and one woman rooted in faith, family, and traditional values. I believe these beliefs should be respected and protected as part of religious liberty and freedom of conscience.

I support the expansion of gambling in my state.

Neutral

Gambling can generate revenue and entertainment opportunities, but it can also create addiction, financial hardship, and negative impacts on families and communities. Any expansion should be approached carefully with strong oversight and safeguards.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian conservative who believes in traditional family values; that there is a higher power greater than us. I believe GOD is the Creator of the universe and that life began through His creation. I believe the Book of Genesis is real and foundational to my faith and worldview. My values are grounded in faith, personal responsibility, compassion, family, truth, and accountability. One of my core values is allowing children to be children. Children should be protected from ideological pressure and adult-driven confusion about identity before they are old enough to fully understand long-term choices. Children deserve innocence, stability, parental guidance, and the freedom to grow and mature as the boys/girls they were born to be.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Voter integrity is essential to public trust in elections. If photo identification is required to open a bank account, drive a car, board a plane, rent or purchase a home, or complete many basic transactions, then requiring photo ID to vote is reasonable. Secure elections should protect every lawful vote and help prevent fraud.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals should be treated equally under the law regardless of race. While America must continue learning from and addressing historical injustices, I do not believe government policies should provide financial compensation or benefits based solely on race. I support equal opportunity, personal responsibility, economic growth, strong education, and policies that help all Americans succeed regardless of background.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Women and girls deserve fairness, privacy, dignity, and safety in sports and protected spaces. Biological differences matter in athletics and certain private settings, and I believe women’s sports and spaces should remain reserved for biological females while treating all individuals with respect and humanity. In general, men are physically stronger than women, and I believe God ordained men to protect and respect women.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Agree

If climate change is man-made, then human decisions and policies have contributed to the problem and should also be part of the solution. I believe God created the earth, and people have a responsibility to be good stewards of creation through practical, responsible environmental policies that protect communities without harming families or small businesses.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

I support reliable, affordable energy through nuclear, natural gas, hydroelectric power, and domestic production. Energy independence is essential for national security, economic growth, and lower costs for families and businesses.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Lean Conservative

I identify as lean conservative because my values are rooted in constitutional principles, faith, family, parental rights, public safety, secure borders, personal responsibility, and limited government. I also believe in practical solutions, protecting individual freedoms, supporting small businesses, strengthening communities, and listening respectfully to voters with different views.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?

The goal of the criminal justice system should be equal justice under the law, public safety, accountability, and protection of constitutional rights. Justice should not depend on how much money someone can afford for an attorney, political influence, or social status. The system should be fair, transparent, and focused on both protecting communities and ensuring due process for all individuals.

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Neutral

Parents have the primary responsibility to protect their children online, monitor activity, and teach safety. However, government also has a role in enforcing laws against predators, trafficking, and exploitation. Companies that profit from online platforms should also be held accountable for protecting children from harm.

Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.

Strongly Agree

Sharia law conflicts with the foundation of the United States Constitution, equal protection, individual liberty, religious freedom, and due process. America’s legal system must be governed by the Constitution and laws enacted through democratic processes, not religious or foreign legal systems.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support enforcing existing laws, protecting constitutional Second Amendment rights, and keeping firearms out of the hands of violent criminals and individuals who pose a legitimate danger to others. Public safety efforts should focus on criminal accountability, mental health concerns, and lawful enforcement rather than unnecessarily restricting responsible gun owners.
