QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion could potentially be allowed if there was a danger to the mother's life and she would not be there for her other children or the fetus.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

There are many options for birth control. Abortion is not one of them.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

Life is precious, and I have watched many people suffer long, debilitating, and painful deaths. I believe it is a humane alternative when there is no way to stop the suffering or reverse the death trajectory.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Currently, our tax codes are one of the worst in the country. Our leaders are not fiscally responsible and their constituents in their daily lives. Without regard to their constituents, they make decisions, pass laws and then take the time to read their emails, which they claim they couldn’t get to until the session was over. Just because they hand us an apology for not listening does not mean we agree with how they raise our taxes and try to slip in unconstitutional taxes. We have layers of taxes by the state, county, and cities. An example is the 7% capital gains tax on individuals, not entities where they hope to get others from other states to pay on investments they hold in this state and leave the wealthiest people with the ability to move the money to different monetary assets to avoid the tax. Our governor and democratic leader are trying to impose a long-term-care tax that brings financial harm to individuals and does not provide comprehensive care. Many Washingtonians do not feel they are getting a fair return on investments of their taxes. I will work with constituents and lawmakers to establish a fair method of collecting taxes to pay for our needed infrastructure and grow the state. Our current administration spends tax dollars without due diligence for long-term consequences or payout.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

As I grow in my elected position and get more information, I will be working with teams of fiscally knowledgeable and responsible people that will provide insightful guidance. As an elected representative, my job is to work for the people, and therefore, I will gather information from experts and make decisions that benefit the people of this state. I am inclined to lower taxes to get the economy moving and people to have more money for essentials to combat the rising inflation.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Part of the pursuit of happiness is to build your direction in life. To work to build up your financial wealth to benefit you and your family. In doing so, you make financial decisions every day. Americans believe in free public education, but as an adult, you must pursue your own wealth and livelihood so long as it does not infringe on the rights of others. Adults must make their way to the American Dream. As an American, you have the constitutional right to work and educate yourself.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Only if the church was set up as a front but was doing moral and illegal things.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. Insurance companies need more restraint, better services, and more coverage. I think it should be open to cross state lines, and people should be able to find the company that fits their needs. An agency needs to be commissioned to audit insurance companies for relationships with medical and pharmaceutical companies and how they help or hinder their customers' well-being.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Vaccinations have been a tremendous medical stabilizer for wellness in our nation. Current childhood vaccinations have evidence of saving lives and protecting others from getting ill, and I agree that they should stay in place. Adult vaccinations are recommendations by medical personnel, and adults get to decide for themselves. No one has a right to require vaccinations, not the government, school, or employers.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We will never eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism, but we can have laws and agencies looking out for the cells and remove the treat from the homeland on our soil. We must continue to be diligent and educate our citizens about the dangers and the workings of these people. We must not keep it a secret. Citizens should know there is a threat in their community and be well-armed and be able to protect themselves and their loved ones.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Neutral

Americans do not need to be involving themselves in conflicts that Isreal can handle on its own.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

America is a sovereign nation with rules and regulations about who we let into our country. A secure border secures our citizens. Our government's first job is the security of this nation. The president, his administration, and the liberal left are not doing their job and should be sanctioned and removed from office individually.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We have a very flawed immigration program. We can do much better. Some peaceful countries are not allowed to immigrate to America, while other countries can bring entire families. The program needs to be reevaluated, audited, and fixed. People want to come to America. We should allow it so long as they meet the criteria and they can become self-supporting citizens. All immigrants must assimilate to the American culture, learn the language and participate as Americans. They can have their own culture, but not in the workplace. We speak English in America; therefore, all business should be spoken in English. All business signs should be written in English. All sales should be conducted using the American monetary system.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and I believe in the Bible, God and Jesus.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

All people have identification.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Voting needs to be conducted in person on voting day, and votes must be counted on voting day. No person shall be prevented from voting by an employer. If you need an absentee ballot, you must show identification to get it, and it has to be returned 24 hours before voting day to ensure it is accurately counted. All people must show identification to vote.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. We have been doing a great job since Martin Luther King. People will always have their biases, and we will never eliminate the way people interact with each other. What is a threat to the security of this nation is the people who are race-baiting and trying to divide people along ethnic, gender, family, and other lines to create hate. There should be harsh consequences for people developing the narrative.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. Much of what we are doing is helping the environment, and we are not going to stop this planet from its regular pattern of climate change. People are not that powerful. We have evidence that oceans were in Utah at one time. Yes, the oceans are rising, but we aren't doing it. We can make the environment cleaner and save jobs, but we can't stop the planet, the weather, or mother nature. We can get better with our pollution without stopping life as we know it.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The government's first job is national security and the ability to defend our nation. Its second job is to create law and order and a system that protects citizens from anarchy, and its third job is to guarantee the freedom of individual liberty.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have none. I am a first time candidate.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

no

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I will push back on our governor's extended emergency powers, the restrictive 2nd amendment rights, and the high taxes, which are getting little return on investments for the taxpayer. I will bring back safety, security, stability, and certainty to our educational system, policing system, and voting system.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

We need to fund mental health and community programs fully and separately from the police departments.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. We have laws, and it is time to use them to their full effect. If laws were stricter or enforced, would-be criminals might think of different ways to meet their needs. Judges who do not follow the sentencing laws should be removed from the position.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

They should sue the person that caused the violence.
